Lightening God Alchemist

But what are the secrets that she keeps hidden even from the people she calls her friends? What does the woman Evelyn Mustang keep hidden behind the facade of the human weapon "Lightening God", while seemingly only seeking to support her brother in becoming the Fuhrer thus also seeking to look like a naive young woman who fell for the sweet promises of the state, despite all warnings?

- Action Girl: Evelyn is a soldier and State Alchemist who adopted the technique of her brother, except for lightening replacing flames, thus her title.
- Affectionate Gesture to the Head: It is said that Roy used to pat his sister's head often when they were younger. He does so again to calm his sister down, after she worries about his plan to join the army.
- The Baby of the Bunch: While she works as a nurse treating wounded soliders during the Eastern Rebellion, Evelyn is the youngest of all the nurses.
- Big Brother Instinct: Roy literally embodies this trope, before Ishval.
- Not in This for Your Revolution: Downplayed by Evelyn, as she does seek to support her brother in his bid to become the Fuhrer and change Amestris, but she is mostly in the army to save Roy and all of the other Ishval veterans from being branded as war-criminals.
- War Is Hell: With the Eastern Rebellion it is literally spelled out for everyone.
