How to Train Your Dragons
is a My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic Fan Fic by carnivale.
Twilight Sparkle has come down with a cold, unfortunately that cold turned her and her friends into baby dragons (or in Spike's case, an earth pony).
This fic is a sequel to an earlier story called My Little Pony: Foalsitting Your Friends is Magic. Not to be confused with How to Train Your Dragon.
This Fan Fic contains examples of:
- Call-Back:
- Pinkie Pie sings "Giggle at the Ghosties".
- Rainbow Dash (along with Scootaloo and Fluttershy) charge ahead of the group to fight the dragon.
- Fluttershy asks if she was too loud. Unfortunately, the answer this time was yes.
- Damsel in Distress: Rarity.
- Death Glare: Spike gave one to Fluttershy when she suggested that they turn back.
- Disney Villain Death: The dragon near Canterlot, after being turned into a pig.
- Forced Transformation: Twilight causes her and her friends to transform into dragons and Spike into a pony, as detailed above. However at the end Twilight sneezes again and turns herself and her friends back to normal, and the dragon into a pig.
- Leeroy Jenkins: Rainbow Dash again.
- Our Dragons Are Different: Twilight and Rarity retain their horns, while Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash retain their wings.
- Purple Is Powerful: The dragon in Canterlot is bigger then the Mane 6 and also purple.
- Shout-Out: The title.
- Pinkie Pie singing the ending theme of Adventure Time.
- Fus Ro Yay, in addition, after Fluttershy said that, Rainbow Dash says that she is a Dragonborn
- This Is Gonna Suck: Twilight says "This wont end well" before fighting the bigger purple dragon.
- Yank the Dog's Chain: The CMC get their cutie marks from Twilight's last sneeze...but they are fake.
