His and Hers is Danny Phantom fanfic written by MyAibou. It is a series of stories detailing Danny and Sam's points of view at pivotal moments in their growing relationship throughout the show, as they come to realize their feelings for one another. It has since been completed and can be found here.

Tropes appearing in this story:

  • All or Nothing: As Sam notes, Danny's personality is like a swinging pendulum, with him either shirking responsibility completely or taking on all of it. Sam wishes he'd find a way to settle in the middle.
  • Arc Words: Each chapter has at least one, depending on the chapter's theme. Some of them even come back in following chapters.
  • Foregone Conclusion: Considering how they become an Official Couple at the end of show, it's obvious that Sam's fears will end up being baseless.
  • Happily Ever After: Lampshaded and defied by Danny and Sam in the epilogue, who say that even though they've finally gotten together, their story together is far from over.
  • Inner Monologue: The majority of the dialogue in the story is of Danny and Sam's inner thoughts.
  • Precision F-Strike: Despite it being based off a show on a family-friendly channel, there is a lot of foul language in this story.
  • Star-Crossed Lovers: Sam believed she and Danny were this, a pair of kids not allowed to have a relationship because it would be doomed to tragic fate. As the show demonstrated, however, it was far from the truth.
  • Strange Minds Think Alike: Except for a few obvious differences, Danny and Sam's inner thoughts are quite similar, especially in each chapter's opening paragraph.
  • Switching P.O.V.: The chapters alternate with one showing Danny's perspective of episode events, then the next showing the same events from Sam's point of view.
  • Tragic Dream: Subverted. Sam believed that there was no chance her crush on Danny would ever be reciprocated and that the two of them were never meant to be. She's quite happy to know she was wrong.
