Tropes:
- Cute Witch: As in canon, Sabrina's a petite teenaged witch who's a Nice Girl and has Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold.
- Eating Lunch Alone: Jermaine does this at the beginning because he doesn't have any new friends yet. Sabrina walks up to him and invites him to eat lunch with her and her friends, which he gladly accepts.
- Flying Broomstick: Sabrina magically conjures one of these to take her and Jermaine to her Halloween party.
- Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: As mentioned above and below, Sabrina retains her canonical Nice Girl tendencies and long blonde hair.
- Halloween Episode: The second half of the story takes place on Halloween.
- Hot Witch: As in canon, both Hilda and Zelda qualify, especially Hilda since she often wears mini dresses. This is mostly because, due to abusing magic, they are stuck in teenage bodies for 100 years.
- Nice Girl: Chloe and Sabrina, as usual. They invite Jermaine to eat lunch with them and later invite him to a Halloween party.
- Platonic Valentine: Sabrina gives a magically conjured one of these to Jermaine.
- Secret-Keeper: Jermaine finds out Sabrina and her aunts are witches, and that Salem is a warlock. Jermaine promises to not tell anybody.
- Shout-Out: The title is a reference to the series' theme song.
- Valentine's Day Episode: The first half of the story mostly takes place on Valentine's Day.
- Valentine's Day Vitriol: Jermaine hates Valentine's Day, although a reason is never specified.
