Gamer Too
is an Alternate Universe Fic made by RockSunner, for Miraculous Ladybug. Part of the Smart Adversaries AU for Miraculous Ladybug on AO3, in which Ladybug villains make smarter decisions. The series has a tropes page here.

This fanfiction series contains examples of:
- Alternate Universe Fic: A What If? with the change that Gamer 2.0 is suspicous of the illusionary Ladybug because the physics of the fall didn't look right to him. He throws a Reverser airplane to dispell the illusion, and then one at the real Ladybug when she attacks from behind. A poorly-worded reversion causes her to become evil.
- The Bad Guy Wins: Marinette bargains for the power of Animaestro, then uses it to destroy Hawk Moth and take over the world.
- Crack Defeat: Dark Animaestro Ladybug is eventually defeated by aliens who trap her in a sphere where she can’t be seen. Everyone welcomes their new overlords.
- Downer Ending: Even the ultimate defeat of Evil Ladybug is less than happy because it comes at the hands of alien invaders.
- Dramatic Irony: Dark Ladybug says she will also take Adrien as a consort if she can find him, unaware that this can never happen.
- Exact Words: Gamer told Ladybug to “change sides”. Didn’t really work out so hot for the people of Earth.
- For the Evulz: Ladybug's motivation after being reversed seems to be this.
- Game-Breaker: Brought up in universe. Animaestro was left off the playable roster for Gamer's tournament because his abilities are simply too powerful and his one weakness is negated by the fact that the tournament is being publicly broadcast.
- I Have You Now, My Pretty: Max is forced to become the consort of the new ruler of the world, Dark Animaestro Ladybug.
- I Lied: Dark Ladybug offers to give Hawk Moth the miraculouses in exchange for Animaestro's powers. When Gamer complies, she naturally goes back on her word.
