Fantasia Crisis is a Disney Animated Canon Crossover made by Lord Akiyama

Yen Sid, sensing a growing evil on the horizon, calls forth twelve individuals. The twelve persons include:

  • An outlaw for the Poor and Helpless...
  • A princess beneath the sea...
  • A prince trapped within a creature...
  • A thief disguised as a prince...
  • A king of guilt and triumph...
  • A god as mortal as man...
  • A warrior both man and woman...
  • A warrior of two worlds...
  • A spirit of seasonal spring...
  • A woman fighting for a price...
  • A creature lost yet found...
  • A captain of swift and guile...

Together, this band of twelve must learn to unite and fight the growing evil and protect their worlds from total destruction.

Tropes that this fic shows examples of include:

  • Action Girl: Helga, Ariel, Mulan, Captain Amelia, and the Spring Sprite.
  • Big Bad: Chernabog
  • Christmas Episode: Fantasia Family Christmas, a one-shot set after the main fic involving the families of the Twelve coming together to celebrate Christmas.
  • The Cameo: In the final chapter, when the heroes part ways, Yen Sid sends Helga and her new lover Chris to the Little Patch of Heaven, where the animals from Home on the Range make an appearance.
  • Crossover: Of most of the classic Disney movies, including Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Tarzan, Treasure Planet, Mulan, Robin Hood (1973), and Fantasia 2000.
  • Cool Sword: Excalibur, which every one of the heroes gets to wield at some point during the final battle.
  • The Dragon: The Firebird to Chernabog.
  • Deadpan Snarker: Helga
    • Also, Timon, who makes sarcastic comments about each member of the team upon meeting them, save for the Spring Sprite, who enchants him with her beauty and playfulness.
  • Disney Death: The Spring Sprite, is initially presumed to have been destroyed by the Firebird. After the Firebird is defeated, however, she is reborn and rejoins the team for the final battle against Chernabog.
  • Friend to All Living Things: The Spring Sprite, who is perhaps the friendliest and most optimistic of all the heroes.
  • Love at First Sight: Timon is enamored by the Spring Sprite's beauty when he first sees her.
  • Misfit Mobilization Moment: The band of twelve consists of an anthropomorphic fox who steals from the rich and gives to the poor, a mermaid princess, a prince imprisoned in the form of a monstrous Beast, a thief who disguised himself as a prince to win the heart of a princess, a talking lion who had just regained his throne, the Empowered Badass Normal son of Zeus, a Chinese woman who dressed herself up as a man to save her ailing father, a human raised by gorillas in the African jungle, a blue alien science experiment designed as the ultimate killing machine, a fairylike creature who is basically the physical manifestation of Spring, a Badass Normal mercinary woman who fought for money, and an anthropomorphic cat woman who captains a Cool Ship. At first glance, you wouldn't think they would work out so well together. By the end however, they all manage to pull together and defeat Chernabog for good.
  • Sole Survivor: Simba is this in a sense, as the only one of the Twelve who comes through the reconstruction of the world with his own memory intact from the beginning, whereas everyone else had new memories until Simba and the others reminded them of their real pasts.
  • Suddenly Speaking: The Spring Sprite, who never said even one word in her segment in her home movie, talks here in this fic.
  • Taken for Granite: Upon his defeat, the Firebird turns into solid rock. Then he explodes when the Spring Sprite is reborn.
  • Token Evil Teammate: Helga is initially dismissed by most of her ‘teammates’ when they learn about her role in the near-destruction of Atlantis, but Simba- essentially the team’s leader- is still willing to treat Helga as an ally as he acknowledges that there is a part of her that wants to be better, with the others eventually accepting her again.
  • Took a Level in Badass: The Spring Sprite, who goes from fleeing in terror from the Firebird to using Excalibur to beat Chernabog.
  • Whole-Plot Reference: The story takes cues from DC Comics' ''Crisis on Infinite Earths' storyline, which sees multiple worlds colliding and a band of heroes working to stop a dangerous force of evil.
