This fanfic contains examples of:
- All of the Other Reindeer: Yun is disliked for being autistic. Otoya is disliked for being the child of a preacher. Riku is disliked for having ADHD, and Rena is disliked after she gets a prosthetic leg. Melody is disliked for her sour personality and goth clothes, and Hokuto is disliked for being the child of a killer.
- Alpha Bitch: Seiko, definitely. She treats her friends like servants and hates anyone who is different. She mostly picks on Yun and her friends, and when she wants to go far, she won't hesitate.
- Armor-Piercing Question: When Kosuke yells at Yun for trying to help Tsukaimon (the mon is being abused by Nayuki), Yun responds by asking him what he'd do if Patamon got kidnapped and abused. Kosuke doesn't answer.
- Childhood Friend: Several. Yun has been with Minako, Kosuke, and Melody since she was little.
- Heroic BSoD: Yun, after a bad day that consists of being insulted by Nenji, Seiko, and their cronies, then being beaten up by them in a detention; being ignored by Kosuke; being yelled at by her father; being slapped by Nenji's mother; and being berated by Ayaka.
- Keet: Riku is definitely hyper and cheerful. His ADHD does present some minor behavioral problems, but he's a good friend and a good boy regardless.
- Kid Hero: Most of the Digimon Brigade are aged 11 and 12, with the oldest being 17 and the youngest being seven and eight years old.
- Roaring Rampage of Revenge: Terriermon goes after Nenji and Seiko after they beat up Yun in detention.
