Tropes

• Adaptational Early Appearance:
  • Jirou's parents, Jirou Kyotoku and Jirou Mika, are introduced right off the bat in Chapter 1 instead of during the Hideout Raid Arc like in canon.
  • Shinsou Hitoshi from Class 1-C as well as Pony Tsunotori from Class 1-B were both introduced in Chapter 2 instead of during the Sports Festival Arc like in canon.

• Alternate Universe:
  • With so many self-inserts being in the same place at once, canon is all but thrown out the window.

• Didn't See That Coming:
  • During the first day at U.A. in Chapter 2, Jirou is surprised when Kirishima straight up asks the class who's an SI, and who isn't.

• High School:
  • The main setting of My Hero Academia is at U.A. High school, so therefore most of the action takes place there. As seen in Chapter 2, the majority of Jirou's time was spent either inside her homeroom classroom or out on one of the numerous training fields.

• Self-Insert Fic:
  • In the first couple sentences of Chapter 1, Nei self-inserts into Jirou Kyouka, permanently altering the course of Canon!Jirou's life.

• Trapped in Another World:
  • Nei wasn't expecting to suddenly appear in Jirou Kyouka's body in Chapter 1. Now that she's coming to terms with her circumstances in Chapter 2, it's settling in that she'll probably be stuck in the world of My Hero Academia for the rest of her life.
