Dreamt
is the 12th story in Stranded. Nocturn is back and Danny is among those captured by him so Star must save the day.
Tropes:
- Big Sister Instinct: Star is furious upon seeing that Nocturn had also placed a dream helmet on her baby half-brother, Pierre, and deems it unforgivable before vowing to free him too.
- Call-Back: Star recalls Danny telling her about Tucker's dream in "Sunk".
- Continuity Nod: Many aspects from the episode "Frightmare" are repeated, something Jazz and Tucker acknowledge.
- Creative Sterility: Star and the rest of Team Phantom are very unimpressed to see that Nocturn is essentially recycling his last scheme, with only some minor tweaks. Nocturn insists that the only reason his last plan failed was because of Danny and that by eliminating him from the equation, he has nothing to worry about.
- Dream Stealer: Star learns about Nocturn in this story, and how he feeds off good dreams.
- Dream Walker: Star uses a specially made helmet Danny had made in case Nocturn returned and he was unavailable.
- Insistent Terminology: Jazz still insists all calling the Sleepwalkers "Creepwalkers".
- Lotus-Eater Machine: Nocturn's helmet continue to serve as this, with Danny's apparently making a dream too nice for him to get shocked or resist.
- Not So Above It All: Despite her insistence on being an intelligent individual who looks down on what other shallow girls like, Sam fantasizes her secret admirer after an Olympic swimmer she saw on television, a notable Hunk who shows off his muscles.
- Sickeningly Sweethearts: While Star enters Danny's dream world, she sees their dream variants as this, acting even more loving to each other.
- Would Hurt a Child: Pierre is one of Nocturn's many victims, much to Star's anger.
