Crash Dive

The story is a Self-Insert, but with a twist: the SI is a ship that was never built in Real Life, and also has a mixed crew of Japanese Sailors and United States technical experts. And that is only scratching the surface...
Tropes in this work include:
- Big Badass Battle Sequence: The majority of Arc 3 is a battle between the Abyssals and the Majority of the Pacific Kanmusu over the fate of Jireigo. The Kanmusu just barely win, as while they don't really take too many casualties, the abyssal severly damage Jireigo before the fight is over.
- Heel–Face Turn: The Southern Demon Raider that shows up for most of arc 3 comes Back from the Dead as Friedrich de Grosse, and is welcomed with open arms. Justified in regards to the forgiveness, as it is implied Abyssals are brainwashed.
- Hidden Buxom: Jireigo is deceptively flat chested while wearing her diving uniform. It's stated that the suit does this to make her shape less detectible.
- Human Resources: The Abyssals use captured humans as food for newly created members of their own. WE get to see this in Chapter 6.4.
Nightmare Fuel doesn't even begin to cover it. - Origins Episode: Chapter 8.5 serves as this, revealing who summoned the first Kanmusu and what happened to her. It's heavily implied she became the Siren of the Deeps.
- The Mole: Siren has some infiltrated into the various Kanmusu Corps, but so far, only the one in the Japanese Corps has been revealed, and he still doesn't have a name.
- Sympathetic P.O.V.: Averted - while the abyssal are given viewpoint sections, these only serve to make it abundantly clear that they are, without any doubt, monstrous.
- We ARE Struggling Together: The Abyssals seem to encourage competition between their own. This doesn't stop a Villainous Friendship or two from cropping up, though.
