is a My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic fan fiction starring Rainbow Dash and set in Cloudsdale's famous Weather Factory. It was written by fanfic author xTSGx.
In the story, the Cloudsdale Weather Corporation is due for an industrial safety inspection, and Manager Dash must race to keep the inspector away from the Factory's darker secrets.
The story is a send-up of Rainbow Factory, an infamous fic where the Pegasi kill flightless young Pegasi and use them to make Rainbows. It also references numerous cliches about factories that appear in fictional works.
Compliance contains examples of the following Tropes:
- Big Electric Switch: A natural factory/mad science cliche that is featured in the story.
- Captain Oblivious: Red Tape is more concerned with the safety violations than the murderous machine that sweeps him to his death.
- Flat "What": Inspector Red Tape utters one after seeing the gorey Pegasus Device that slaughters children.
- No OSHA Compliance: The plot and title is a reference to this Trope. The inspector commends the factory for not having "ridiculous scaffolding suspended precariously above open vats".
- One-Word Title: A common feature of many xTSGx fics.
