Comet's Crazy Adventures
is a Star vs. the Forces of Evil Spin-Offspring fic featuring Star and Marco's son Comet.
Taking place 23 years after "Cleaved" this series follows the adventures of Comet Diaz, the son of Star and Marco. Full of mystery and adventure. This series is on both FanFiction and DeviantArt.
Comet's Crazy Adventures contains examples of:
- Achievements in Ignorance: Comet managed to come up with a reverse Whispering Spell without even intending to make a spell.
- Alternate History: There were 3 Queen added between Eclipsa and Moon Butterfly, with a new Queen, Lunaura as the peasant girl who replaced Meteora, and Crescenta having a son, Sirius, and him having a daughter, Aurora, who became Rhina's mother. And it’s revealed after the worlds cleave that Lunaura has a Secret relationship with Jushtin’s grandson, making her daughter Festivia a Butterfly, distant but that does make Comet a descendant of the original Butterfly Line.
- Atlantis: Although it was actually in the Pacific ocean, Atlantis was the major magical power of Earth before it was destroyed by a cabal of dark wizards 2,500 years ago, with the Earth well having been below an Atlantean temple, and the original Mewmans being descendants of the Atlanteans. Angie is also a descendant of the last Atlantean prince.
- Dead Guy Junior: Moon and River conceived a son shortly before magic was destroyed, who was named after the latter.
- Famous Ancestor: There has been mentions of the prior 25 Queens before Lyric. Some used Magic for good, some abused it with Dark Magic.
- Fan-Created Offspring: The main character is Star and Marco's son Comet, with the children of several other characters as secondary characters.
- Great Offscreen War: There was apparently a world war after the dimensions merged.
- Heroic Lineage: Besides being related to Star and Marco, through his grandmother Angie Comet is descended from the last Atleantean Prince.
- History Repeats: It's revealed in chapter 4 that magic has been destroyed and come back several times, with a new species being chosen as its primary wielders with each incarnation, with a certain royal family, like the Butterflies, being the most powerful of that group. Just like with Star destroying magic so Mina and her army of Solarian warriors could be stopped, the last time magic was destroyed an Atlantean Prince did so in order to save his people from a cabal of dark wizards who had destroyed Atlantis by removing their source of power.
- Like Father, Unlike Son: Two of Mina's children disagree with her anti-monster views.
- Love Across Battlelines: The second born daughter of Eclipsa and Globgor, Solaria II, is in a romantic relationship with Mina Loveberry’s oldest son, Sol.
- The Magic Comes Back: The story is about Star and Marco's son Comet restoring magic. Normally it takes 1000 years at minimum for magic to be restored, but due to Comet being the son of Star, who was able to restore magic after Toffee corrupted it from a tiny bit of pure magic, and descended from the last Atlantean prince via his grandmother Angie, he's able to fully restore magic much faster, with Solaria's help.
- Mating Season Mayhem: Somehow Comet undergoes Mewberty despite that normally being something only females of the royal line do.
- Past-Life Memories: All the embodiments of magic can apparently access the knowledge of the previous embodiments.
- Red Eyes, Take Warning: A mysterious woman using magic to spy on Comet and company has red pupils.
- Superpowerful Genetics: The Phoenix Royal Family has a flame from a Phoenix bird that’s been passed down through the generations, specifically from father to son when they step down, in a similar way the Butterfly Queens pass the wands to their daughters, but all children who’s parent possesses the Phoenix Flame inherits an Ember that grants them accelerated healing, and this Flame was independent of Magic so it remained when the Worlds Cleaved after Magic’s destruction.
- Theme Naming: Following a similar theme as Glossaryk, the embodiments of magic have names like Chapterra, Dictionarik, etc., with the new incarnation being named Tableaucontenta, or Tabs for short.
