Cold Temperatures, Warm Hearts
is a Sonic the Hedgehog fanfic made by Gullfriend31. It features Cream and her long lost father Ice.

- Fooled by the Sound: In the first chapter, Cream hears rumbling and asks Vanilla if that's her stomach. It turns out to be an incoming avalanche.
- Growling Gut: Cheese's stomach growls from hunger when Ice brings him home, Cream thinks it's Vanilla's stomach.
- Hopeless Suitor: Vector has a crush on Vanilla, but when he hears she still has a husband, he is still determined to find him at Cream's request.
- Interspecies Romance: Downplayed. Vanilla is a rabbit and Ice is a hare.
- In a Single Bound: Ice's main ability is to jump as high as a tall tree.
- I Want My Beloved to Be Happy: After Cream tells Vector about how Ice helped Vanilla, he realized how much they loved each other, he had a crush on Vanilla, but wanted to find Ice so she could be happy.
- Injured Limb Episode: Charmy gets his wing hit by lightning, disabling his ability to fly for the rest of the story.
- Meaningful Name: Ice is a snowshoe hare trapped in Glacial Fields.
- Manly Tears: Espio and Vector tear up during Cream and Vailla's reunions with Ice.
- My God, What Have I Done?: Rouge feels guilty for almost wanting to profit off of the picture of Ice.
- No. Just... No: Espio's reaction when Charmy suggests making the snake puke them out.
- Not So Stoic: Espio feels sad about Vanilla and Cream losing Ice and shows it, breaking his stoic nature a little.
- Odd Name Out: Subverted with Ice. He isn't named after food like Vanilla, Cream, and Cheese, however his name combined with Cream's is "Ice Cream".
- Sickness Equals Redness: Where Cheese's nose should be is red when they are sick.
- Sneeze of Doom: Cheese sneezes a few times, causing an avalanche and later a rockslide.
- Tears of Joy: Cream cries when she reunites with Ice, and so does Espio, Vector also tears up when he sees Vanilla and Ice happy together.
- Tempting Fate: Vector says the answer will hit him like lightning, then a storm comes.
- Too Unhappy to Be Hungry: Vanilla doesn't want to eat the pizza her dad offers her after losing her house to a fire.
- Trying Not to Cry: Espio tries not to cry when he sees Cream and Ice's reunion but gives in.
- Womb Level: When the snake swallows the team, Cream gets everyone out by flying out of the throat and having Team Chaotix climb a rope.
