- Breath Weapon: When Rebecca mentions her Dragon Ancestry, Casey asks if this also means that she can breathe fire.
- Bring My Brown Pants: When Casey accidentally Extra-Dimensional Shortcut-ed herself a mile in the air in the backstory, she ended up pissing herself.
- Dragon Ancestry: Rebecca Clause is descended from dragons, and possesses wings as a result.
- Extreme Omnivore: As part of a joke about how Casey got rid of her swimsuit:She giggled briefly before looking around in confusion, "What did you do with your wet bathing suit?"
"I ate it," I said with grin, "I was hungry."
"Seriously?" she asked as her eyes opened widely.
"No, not really, I just sent it away..." - Extra-Dimensional Shortcut: Casey can create spaces within another dimension that she can access from anywhere and use to go to places that she has never been to before.
- First-Person Perspective: The story starts with a letter to Casey's parents, and then continues into getting everything from Casey's point of view.
- Healing Factor: This, known In-Universe as "Regen" — short for "Regeneration" — is assumed by one of the listeners of Casey's story to be how she survived being a Human Sacrifice.
- Mind over Matter: Usually shortened from "Telekinesis" to "TK". Power and finesse are usually mutually exclusive — you can either lift a lot of mass or handle small objects — and being able to do both is considered very impressive.
- Telepathy: Casey can communicate mind-to-mind with FUBAR.
- Virgin Sacrifice: Casey, having been a Human Sacrifice herself, believes that being a virgin only makes you into a target for this.
