- Abduction Is Love: The girls see no problem kidnapping Danny with a spell to bring him to Phantasma.

- Adaptational Villainy: The Phantom is this to the story since he comes to threatenings to remove her dauther from her school' and so from her friends, and homeschool till for the rest of the year so that Phantasma and Danny couldn'tsee eachothers. In canon it didn't come so far and he always cared for Phantasma's happiness though it was strict for any boys she was hanging around. Also he fights mercilessly against Danny but when he discovers he has given an (It Makes Sense In The Context involuntary) hickey to Phantasma he becomes livid with anger, with clear declarations that he wants him completely PULVERIZED.
- All Women Are Lustful: Phantasma deeply admires Danny to an almost unhealthy extent.
- Betty and Veronica: Phantasma would be the Betty, as in the first girl who spends the most time around Danny and gets to know him more. Sibella would be the Veronica, the slightly more flirtatious girl who doesn't know him to well. However, neither of them realize Danny isn't interested in a ghost who won't stop laughing or a vampire.
- Boyfriend-Blocking Dad: The Phantom was willing to remove his daughter from school if it meant Danny Phantom would stay away from her.
- Boy Meets Ghoul: The premise of the story is Danny Phantom meeting Phantasma of Grimwood.
- Captive Date: Danny is stuck in a "date" with Phantasma, to his dismay. It only gets worse from there...

- The Phantom has had some trouble with Clockwork before and it seems to have not played in his favor. Grimwood threatening to inform the Observants, and Clockwork as well, over the damage he caused her school is what kept him from taking his daughter away.
- The Grim Creeper said that Freakshow and Lydia offered him a job as another servant at one time, but he refused (which he heavily regrets now).
- Obnoxious In-Laws: Jack isn't allowed to admit out loud that he hates his sister-in-law

- Stalker with a Crush: Phantasma would go anywhere to be with Danny, bringing much stress for him.
- Tastes Like Feet: Phantasma's fungus brownies were so gross and bitter that Jack said it was the chocolate version of his sister-in-law.
- Unwitting Instigator of Doom: Because he prevented Danny from finishing his note, Jack unintentionally made his son's note imply something it wasn't meant to, making Phantasma continue to crush on him.
- Violently Protective Girlfriend: Phantasma is not afraid to take on Skulker for Danny.
- Wouldn't Hit a Girl: He's fine with hitting girls like Ember since they intend to do harm, but since Phantasma and her friends aren't evil, Danny doesn't attack them.
