- Finish your drink when Nermal does show up in a new strip as it is rare.
- Jon or Garfield make an Aside Glance. Take two if it's in response to something the other said or did.
- Garfield is Hating on Monday
- Jon gets rejected by a woman
- Finish your drink in celebration when he and Liz finally become an Official Couple
- Garfield steals Jon's dinner
- Jon gets angry at Garfield for not eating mice
- Garfield swats a spider
- Garfield is a less-than-attentive boyfriend to Arlene
- The talking scale creatively insults Garfield's weight
- Jon does or says something stupid
- Jon talks about his nerdy habits
- Take a drink every time he is seen with his accordion, or it is mentioned/referenced
- Take a big drink when Garfield says "We're bachelors, baby!"
- Odie implies that he is not as dumb as he makes out to be
- A rerun appears, or a practical copy of an older one appears (this can also count reused title panels on the Sunday strips)
- The fourth wall is broken
- Finish your drink when Garfield is nice to Jon/Odie. This is rare.
