- If Cain has a drink, have one with him. Consider having something nonalcoholic if he's drinking tanna or recaff (or, in Death or Glory, water).
- Take a drink whenever Cain uses his chainsword in combat.
- If he kills his opponent with the chainsword, take two drinks.
- If someone else finishes off the opponent but Cain gets the credit anyway, finish your drink.
- Take a drink whenever Jurgen uses his melta.
- If Cain uses the word "actinic" to describe the flash of the melta's discharge, take two.
- Take a drink any time Jurgen destroys anything ornamental while driving.
- Take two if it's a shrubbery.
- Take a sip whenever Cain comments about Jurgen's body odor or hygene.
- Take a sip whenever Cain snarks.
- If you really don't like your liver, take a sip whenever anyone snarks. Vail's footnotes alone should add up to a glass.
- Take a drink whenever Cain says that if he'd only known X he would have taken Cowardly Action Y.
- Take two drinks if Cowardly Action Y is, instead, Absurdly Brave Action Z.
- When the narrative goes to Sexy Discretion Shot, take a drink.
- If Cain is saved from a dangerous situation by Jurgen's blank nature, take a drink.
- If Cain refers to "Emperor-botherers", take a drink.
- If Vail corrects something in her footnotes that Cain said in the main narrative, take a drink.
- If a footnote contains no useful information and is merely a vehicle for a snarky comment, finish your drink.
- Whenever Jurgen's porn slates are mentioned, drink.
- Whenever Cain swears by the Emperor's Bowels, take a drink.
- If Cain himself uses the phrase "Hero of the Imperium", take a drink.
