If you have Wolverine’s Healing Factor:
- Take a shot every time a character with an Alliterative Name is introduced.
- Take a shot every time someone makes a Shout-Out or Mythology Gag (not both, unless you actually are Wolverine).
- Or if you only have Asgardian-level Healing Factor, choose just one of the following and take a shot every time they're referenced: Tolkien's Legendarium, Doctor Who, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, William Shakespeare, or Discworld.
- Take a shot every time someone mentions the Phoenix (even with the Healing Factor, you'll probably want to skip the second half of the "Forever Red" arc, for your own safety).
- Take a shot every time someone messes with somebody else.

- Take a shot every time the author announces that he had to cut the promised chapter in two because he wrote too much. Again.

- Take a shot every time a (supposed) Contrived Coincidence occurs, courtesy of Doctor Strange. And then call an ambulance.
