Take a drink (or two) if:
- Buffy uses Buffy Speak.
- Take two if someone else use Buffy Speak.
- Buffy dusts a vamp with her stake.
- Take two if a Vampire is killed without a stake (example, beheading, set on fire).
- Someone says the word "Hellmouth."
- Spike, Angel or Riley have a Shirtless Scene.
- Take two if another male character has a Shirtless Scene too.
- Buffy or Angel have a line that consists solely of saying the other's name.
- You notice Sarah Michelle Gellar's stunt double.
- Giles, Spike, or Wesley uses British slang.
- Willow engages in Hollywood Hacking.
- Willow casts a spell.
- Xander is the show's Butt-Monkey.
- Spike tilts his head to one side.
- Giles gets knocked out.
- Anya obsesses over money.
- Spike refers to himself as the “Big Bad”, or someone else calls him calls him the “Big Bad”.
- Take two in the rare instance that the term “Big Bad” is used for someone other than Spike.
- A Slayer other than Buffy appears.
- Cordelia insults someone.
- Cordelia is actually nice to someone.
- An innocent is killed/turned in the opening scenes, kicking off the episode's plot.
- The Monster of the Week is defeated.
- There is sexual tension between two of the characters, or if there's a moment of All Love Is Unrequited.
- Take an extra if one of the characters is a vampire or other monster.
- Take an extra if they actually have sex (this stacks with the above).
- There is a Title Drop.
- Somebody first sees through The Masquerade and/or learns that Buffy is the Slayer.
- One of the Scoobies is killed.
- Take two if they were killed by the season's Big Bad.
- Take three if they come Back from the Dead.
- Take two if they were killed by the season's Big Bad.
- An attack happens at the Bronze.
- The Scoobies argue or fight amongst each other.
- You see a scene that's part of the Title Sequence.
- One of the villains yells, "Slayer!"
- Buffy and Joyce disagree or butt heads.
- Joyce is a good mother.
