Dies Differently In Adaptation / Power Rangers

Go To

Power Rangers changes up quite a few deaths from Super Sentai:

Multi-Season Characters

  • Master Kaku in Gosei Sentai Dairanger and SandayÅ« Momochi in Ninja Sentai Kakuranger were respectively killed by Lt. Col. Shadam and Gasha Dokuro in a battle. In Power Rangers in Space, Zordon, a Composite Character of those two and the other Sentai mentors up to Megaranger, asks Andros to kill him to stop the villains from conquering the universe, which he does by shattering his energy tube.
  • The Machine Empire is vaporized by the Z Wave at the end of In Space. Their counterparts, the Baranoia, did not survive Chouriki Sentai Ohranger, with Bacchus/Mondo using his last energy after his defeat at the Ohrangers' hands to empower Buldont/Sprocket into Kaiser Buldont/Gasket, who perishes with his wife, Multiwa/Archerina, in battle with King Pyramider. Hysteria/Machina self destructs to ensure her grandson's safety. Only Acha and Kocha/Klank and Orbus survive Ohranger, but not ''In Space''. Gasket and Archerina aren't seen again after Zeo due to their costumes falling apart, so their fates are ambiguous.
  • Both the Nejirangers of Megaranger and The Psycho Rangers of In Space are destroyed in giant monster size, bring themselves back to life with the Data Card Machine, and are turned into Data Cards by the Rangers. While the Nejiranger cards aren't seen again after Hinelar City explodes, and likely perished for real there, the Psycho Ranger cards are seen afterwards in Astronema's possession. Lost Galaxy resolves the Sequel Hook in the team-up, by having Deviot reanimate them; all but Psycho Pink are destroyed by the combined Ranger team, while Psycho Pink is Killed Off for Real in giant monster size by the Megazords.
  • Professor Cog, first appearing in Samurai's Clash of the Red Ranger and then in Super Megaforce's In The Driver's Seat, is a composite of two different, but very identical villains named Batcheed and Babatcheed. The former is killed in Shinkenger vs Go-Onger by the combined Ranger teams' mecha, while Cog goes down in ground level to Jayden and Scott.
  • Venjix/Evox, a Composite Character of three different Sentai villains, never went down exactly as his counterparts did. His first counterpart from Go-Onger, Hiramechimedes, is destroyed by Go-On Red's sword attack and returns the next episode as a ghost which is destroyed by Engine-Oh G9. The RPM equivalent has the Red Ranger dual-wield his Street Saber and the Gold Ranger's Cloud Hatchet for the attack, while his stint as a ghost never happens. His second counterpart, Yogoshimacritein, is destroyed by Engine-Oh G12, while his second RPM body gets a control tower dropped on it. Finally, as Evox, he is destroyed when the Rangers stab him in the chest with the Beast-X King Megazord and overload him with human DNA. Messiah, meanwhile, is stabbed by Go-Buster Lioh, and then blasted at point blank by its Ignition Tornado.

Single Season Characters

  • Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers:
    • The Zyu 2 Monsters were rarely killed by what the footage intended. A monster blasted by the Ultrazord reacts to the Power Sword slash, for example. With Season 2 bringing in the Thunder Megazord, the remaining Zyu 2 monsters were killed by its saber slash.
    • Pineoctopus is vaporized in MMPR by the Megazord's cranial laser; in Zyuranger, Dora Endos is vaporized by the Tyrannosaurus's ground sonic (which is briefly glimpsed in Power Rangers due to Stock Footage Failure) as blasting it with Daizyujin would've spread his sneeze powder everywhere.
    • MMPR Madame Woe is blasted by the Power Blaster, rather than the Thunder Slingers (which weren't introduced yet) Dora Raiger was felled by in Zyuranger.
    • MMPR's Snizzard is one-hit KOd by Kimberly's Power Bow, while the Zyurangers still had to use the Howling Cannon to finish off Dora Ladon.
    • Because Zyuranger's Dora Franke was split into Frankenstein and Mutitus in MMPR, the former dies to the Dragonzord Battle Mode finisher, while that attack triggered Franke's transformation to Zombie Franke/Mutitus, who is ultimately vaporized as Satan Franke by Zyutei Daizyujin/Mega Dragonzord.
    • Fang, another monster killed in Zyuranger by the Dragonzord Battle Mode finisher, is blasted by the Ultrazord in Power Rangers.
    • Polluticorn is finished off in MMPR by the Power Sword finisher, while Dora Unicorn fell in Zyuranger to a special variation of the attack where Daizyujin rode King Brachion.
    • MMPR's Purse Head is killed by the White Ranger, while the Dairangers blasted Purse Priest with their Qiryoku Bomber.
    • Dairanger's Fast-Talking Wanderer is the first to fall to the Chi-Power Bazooka, while MMPR's Beam Caster is the last to fall to the Power Blaster.
    • Dairanger's Media Magician is killed off by Gara on the ground level and is revived as a giant puppet that gets destroyed by Dairenoh. MMPR's Showbiz Monster is fully sapient during his episode, so he's Killed Off for Real by the Thunder Megazord.
    • Pachinko Head is killed off by the Thunder Megazord finisher just before Serpenterra arrives; Pachinko Master, meanwhile, gets stepped on by Daijinryu (Serpenterra's counterpart).
    • Mondo the Magician took two Megazord finishers to bring him down; Shadam, meanwhile, dies in a unmorphed duel with Ryuranger after being stabbed in the gut, then turns into clay as he's revealed to be a clay copy and crumbles into dust.
    • Both Kakuranger's Nue and MMPR's Hate Master were brought down by Tsubasamaru and the Super Ninja Beasts/the Ninjazords' individual attacks, with God Kark/Crane Ninjazord's eye lasers being the final blow. MMPR, however, adds in Titanus, who came from Zyuranger, not Kakurager, for an attack.
    • While both Miss Chief and Kasha go down to the Ninja Megazord/Kakure Dai Shogun finisher, Kasha gets knocked into a giant fireworks launcher and blows up as fireworks, while Miss Chief blows up the standard way.
    • In Kakuranger, Nurikabe briefly battles Blue Rougan as a giant, but retreats and meets his end an episode later by the Shark Cycle Team Attack. Brick Bully, meanwhile, doesn't survive his battle with the Blue Shogunzord.
    • Yamauba is destroyed in Kakuranger by the Three God Generals and Samuraiman, while Dischordia in MMPR needed the Shogun Ultrazord to finish her.
  • Power Rangers Zeo:
    • Louie Kaboom goes boom straightaway after the Megazord finisher. Bomber the Great survived long enough to shoot his true missile form at the sun, which is thwarted by the Rangers.
    • While Adrian disappears from the plot of A Few Bad Seeds, Pollenator gets blasted by the Zeo Laser Pistols. Ohranger filled in the details: Bara Cactus 2 (Adrian) was dismantled by Bacchus, who killed Bara Cactus 1 (Pollenator) when he tried to avenge him.
    • Defoliator first fights the Rangers Megazord size and is killed off on ground level. That's reversed from how Bara Darts fought the Rangers in his episode.
    • Defector is killed instantly by the Defender Wheel, while Bara Revenger survives long enough to fall apart later at a junkyard.
    • Googleheimer goes boom like any other monster, skipping Bara Hungry suddenly turning into an angel and flying away.
    • Bara King was defeated by King Pyramidder Carrier Formation in Ohranger, while Jason defeated Altor with his own staff in Power Rangers.
    • Bara Micron is vaporized by Dorin (King Ranger's friend) with a powerful crystal; Zeo had Jason vaporize Mechatapiller with Pyramidas.
  • Power Rangers Turbo:
    • BB Donpa, the first Gorotsuki faced by the Carrangers, gets blasted by a passing alien who was seriously annoyed by the racket he was making. Wolfgang Amadeus Griller goes out the less silly route by getting blasted by Tommy and the Blue Senturion.
    • Lord Litter and his Sentai Counterpart, EE Musubinofu, died in battle with four of the Rescuezords, but the latter also had White Racer and her Radiacar (which were Adapted Out of Turbo) to deal with.
    • Emperor Exhaus, the Big Bad of Carranger, gets shrunk down by stale Imo-Youkan (which is what the Gorotsuki used to upsize), which led to the Carrangers defeating him on ground level. His Turbo counterpart, Goldgoyle, was fed the Turbo R.A.M. on full power.
  • Power Rangers in Space:
    • In Denji Sentai Megaranger, Guirail falls to the first use of the Mega Voyager after Hinelar turned him into a mindless beast, while Javious the First dies alongside the Nejirangers upon their first destruction. Their counterparts, Darkonda and Dark Specter, survived those fates to pull a Mutual Kill on each other: Darkonda shoots Dark Specter with two planet destroying missiles meant for Earth, while Dark Specter eats Darkonda in his last moments.
    • Megaranger's Yugande is killed in a final battle with Kenta, which In Space's Ecliptor survives only to meet his end by Zordon's Z-Wave.
    • Termite Nezire is killed on the ground level by a team attack with Mega Silver and not Mega Yellow. As the Silver Ranger was to appear in the second half, Mamamite is blasted by the Spiral Saber Booster Mode and Quadroblaster combo.
  • Power Rangers Lost Galaxy:
    • Gingaman's Big Bad Captain Zahab goes down fighting the Gingaman team, while his last surviving general, Battobas, is Eaten Alive by the Earth Demon Beast when he tried feeding it with Extreme Growth Factor. Both their counterparts, Captain Mutiny and Barbarax, get blown up when Trakeena blasts their castle.
    • The first general, Sambash, tries to run down Ginga Red on his motorcycle, only to get struck with a sword attack and blow up when he drives off a cliff. Villamax, who inherited Sambash's design but not his personality, is killed by a maddened Trakeena.
    • Furio, the villain who replaced Sambash as the first general, self destructs in his final battle with the Red Ranger. Furio's design is actually from Megaranger's monster form for Dr. Hinelar, who goes down with the Grand Neziro in that Sentai's final battle.
    • In episode 47, Biznella is destroyed by Giga Rhino and Giga Phoenix, the very Starbeasts he mechanized, while Shelinda dies in a final battle with Ginga Green. Deviot survives his battle with the Centaurus and Strataforce Megazords, and a few episodes later, forcibly fuses himself with Trakeena (the villain who replaced Shelinda) in Scorpius's cocoon. This results in a sociopathic Trakeena who gets blasted by Leo's battilizer, then returns in the next season's team-up, where she turns into a monstrous form that is destroyed by a Lights of Orion powered Omega Megazord.
    • Samuron, Teksa, Spikaka, Magnetox, and Decibat are Killed Off for Real on the ground level in various ways, skipping over their final battles with the Megazord.
    • Unlike Mizziles, Rocketron survived the Galaxy Megazord's finisher and shrunk back to human size. However, Deviot drained the last bit of energy he had left, which sealed his fate.
    • The Silver Starbeasts, GigaRhino and GigaPhoenix survived the entirety of the main Gingaman series but died in a Heroic Sacrifice against Daitanix II in Seijuu Sentai Gingaman vs. Megaranger, their Lost Galaxy counterparts, the Lost Galactabeasts, instead died when Trakeena had them surrounded with hordes of suicide bomber Stingwingers and detonated them at once.
  • Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue:
    • Kyukyu Sentai Go Go Five sees Denus sacrifice herself to provide energy for Zylpheeza's resurrection. Vypra, meanwhile, is unwillingly sacrificed by Queen Bansheera to fuel her transformation to her final form. She gets better in the next season's Time for Lightspeed, where she's blasted by the Rangers' combined laser attack.
    • Pierre survives Grandiene's destruction in the finale, returning for Timeranger vs Go Go Five, where he fuses with the Londarz prisoner of the day, Boribaru, and is exorcised by the Rangers. Jinxer, meanwhile, doesn't survive Lightspeed Rescue as he hijacks the Omega Megazord and is blown up there. Boripierre, the aforementioned fusion form, becomes the singular demon Quarganon in Time for Lightspeed, who also dies with Vypra when the Rangers blast them.
    • The Supertrain Megazord's debut fight sees it blast Trifire with its Gatling Blasters, then Magmavore with its Turbine Super Charge; that was reversed from how the equivalent Go Go Five fight went down, meaning Magma Golem (Magmavore) went first to the Grand Liner's standard weapons, then Hellgerus (Trifire) to the Grand Storm attack.
    • The Gold-Beaked Monster, Elestomp, Smogger, Moleman and Arachnor are destroyed on the ground level by various means, skipping over their Sentai counterparts' final battles with the Megazord.
    • Infinitor and his Sentai counterpart, Lizardes, are both taken down by the Omega Megazord wielding the Lightspeed Megazord Sabre. The difference is that the GoGoV tossed Lizardes into the sun afterwards.
    • In Kyuukyuu Sentai GoGo Five vs. Gingaman Darkness King Gill barely survives a finisher from the heroes and dies when he stabbed himself to use his own blood to summon the Infernal Dark Beast on Earth, exploding afterwards. Triskull is instead fully killed by the finisher and falls over dead in one piece (no explosion included).
    • Thunderon, one of the Trokia trio monsters Diabolico sent out, died to the Max Solarzord's lasers. In GoGoV, Hades Dread Knight Guuru was put down for good by Grand Liner's Grand Storm after Liner Boy's (Max Solarzord's sentai counterpart) fired at him (as seen in Thunderon's explosion scene, the Supertrain Megazord's fist were covered by the Turbine Lasers).
  • Frax, the only main villain casualty of Power Rangers Time Force, literally falls apart after Doomtron is destroyed. His Timeranger counterpart, Gien, fades away instead.
  • Quite a few examples from Power Rangers Wild Force in its adaptation from Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger:
    • The first Arc Villain Highness Duke Org Shuten is killed by his successor, Highness Duke Org Ura, after he survived his last battle with the rangers, to absorb what's left of his power and lifeforce. In Wild Force he's killed by Master Org/Viktor Adler to keep his true identity hidden.
    • Ura survives his giant battle with Gao Icarus, losing his empowerment from the Spirit of Darkness in the process, and is finished off by the Gaorangers on ground level. Nayzor is finished off by the Isis Megazord.
    • The third Arc Villain, Rasetsu is killed in a giant fight with the Gaorangers; Mandilok is killed off on ground level by Master Org when he returns.
    • The above are brought back to life later, only to die in both shows to a finisher-o-war; the only difference is that the Power Rangers used their original Jungle Blaster instead of the Jungle Sword/Haja Hyakujuken like in Gaoranger.
    • Minor Orgs Motorcycle Org and Lawnmower Org are killed off on ground level and have their Sentai Megazord battles skipped over. In Lawnmower Org's case, it was because his Sentai counterpart ran over both the Black Ranger and Megazord's Legs/Bison Zord, which was too brutal to keep.
  • Power Rangers Ninja Storm
    • Gamajakushi is the first monster defeated by Senpuujin's Goat Hammer combo; as the Turtle Mace wasn't introduced yet, Amphibidor is defeated by the Ram Hammer by itself (Stock Footage Failure shows the flail combo connecting on Amphibidor).
    • General Trayf, meanwhile, is defeated by the Flail Combo, while his Sentai counterpart, Futabutabou, is defeated with the Sword Slasher.
    • Hiphopper, Sky Scrapper and Tentacreep all appear in The Samurai's Journey Part 3, where they are destroyed by the Thunder Rangers. Their Megazord battles in Hurricaneger (where Sky Scrapper's counterpart is defeated by the Hurricane Hawk's firebird attack, and the other two by Senpuujin) are skipped over.
    • Goldwinger is destroyed by Shane in his Battilizer, skipping over the Sentai Megazord battle where Revolver Gourai Senpuujin defeats him.
    • Manmabura is killed twice in Hurricaneger prior to the finale, first he's killed off by Kabutoraiger at ground level only to leave behind a clone that mutates into a berserk form that is destroyed by Tenrai Senpuujin's Ultimate Storm. In Power Rangers, the berserk form is made into a Monster of the Week called Eyezak who died to the Hurricane Megazord like in the sentai. Motodrone, Manmabura's counterpart, is melted into a puddle by Vexacus.
    • Satarakura was killed as a giant when Shurikenger self-destructs Tenkuujin in a point-blank suicide attack. Shimazu is killed by Marah and Kapri on ground level.
    • Boss Tau Zant was killed by Sandaaru the moment he awakened the Evil Will with Raging Arrow and Grieving Bow, then his body was used by the Will for its final fight against the Hurricanegers in which it falls to a max powered Victory Gadget. Lothor survives the events of the series and is sealed in the Abyss of Evil, but does die in the next series after Mesogog imprisons him inside of a jar on his base which gets blown up in the finale, destroying Lothor.
  • Power Rangers: Dino Thunder:
    • Zeltrax's Sentai counterpart was actually a cursed suit of armor worn by several individuals. His backstory as a former friend of the Black Ranger resembles the first of these users, Geildon, who allowed himself to be killed by Jeanne to pass on the armor to her. Zeltrax is ultimately destroyed by a team attack by the Black and Yellow Rangers.
    • Abaranger's Bakudandelion is the first Monster of the Week defeated by Abarenoh; his PR counterpart, Creature, shows up a bit later and is defeated on ground level by the White Ranger.
    • White Terrorsaurus II is defeated on ground level by Tommy, before being Killed Off for Real by the Thundersaurus Megazord. This is the reverse of how Killer Ghost Generation II was defeated in Sentai.
    • Tutanhawken is destroyed in Power Rangers by Ethan's Hovercraft Cycle; his Sentai counterpart, Hagetakaraichi, was destroyed by Asuka in the Armor of Darkness. It should be noted that this happened on the ground as both grew giant and both fell to the Mezodon Rover/Bakuryuu Styracosaurus.
    • Mikela and Voffa end Abranger fused into a single being, which is destroyed by Killeroh; Power Rangers reduced their individual selves to background monsters named Izzy and Pupperazi (their fused form was made a separate being known as the Ugly Monster who is killed the same way it was in Abaranger), who are destroyed by the Red Rangers' battlizers.
    • In the second half of Dino Thunder, Trent turned good while a White Ranger Clone was created to fill in his spot in Mesogog's Army, effectively making Mikoto Nakadai a Decomposite Character. While Trent survived all the way to the end of the season, Mikoto and the White Ranger Clone perished in different ways. Mikoto died when his Dino Minder, an unstable henshin changer that could explode without warning, finally exploded and took TopGaler with him (as a side note, TopGaler's counterpart, the Dragozord, survived till the end of Dino Thunder). The White Ranger Clone was destroyed in a final battle with Trent.
  • Power Rangers S.P.D.: The Drill Robot piloted by Green Eyes is shot down by the Delta Squad Megazord, while its Sentai counterpart was destroyed by the Deka Bike Robo (as the Omega Ranger and the Omega Max Megazord wouldn't appear until the following two-parter).
  • Power Rangers Mystic Force:
    • Both Dagon and Sculpin of the Ten Terrors are destroyed by a bazooka blast from Sphinx/Itassis. The difference is that Dagon is blasted pointblank just as he tries to kill Sphinx, while Sculpin goes down fighting Itassis, who blasts him from a few feet away.
    • Oculous of the Ten Terrors is destroyed by Nick with his Dragon Fire Battilizer, skipping over the Megazord battle that his counterpart, Cyclops, had. This was due to Cyclops shooting real bullets in his footage, which couldn't be edited away.
    • Two consecutive Magiranger monsters, Ghoul and Skeleton, appear in Mystic Force's Petrified Xander as Boney and Skullington. Ghoul is destroyed by Kai with the Magi Punch boxing gloves, while Skeleton is destroyed by Magi King. Boney, meanwhile, is destroyed by Vida's tornado attack, while Skullington is destroyed by Xander with the Mystic Fighters boxing gloves.
    • Warmax and his Sentai counterpart, Shichijuurou, both go down to the Mystic Minotaur's ax. But while that was it for Warmax, Shichijuurou survived because his true form was his sword, which possessed Makito until Hikaru and Smokey (Daggeron and Jenji's counterparts) destroyed it.
  • Power Rangers Operation Overdrive:
    • Benglo of the Fear Cats is destroyed by the Red Sentinel Ranger, rather than the Dual Crusher that his counterpart, Rei, was destroyed by.
    • The duel between Masumi and Yaiba ended when the former defeated the latter with his Hammer Dynamic. However, the duel between Kamdor and Will ended differently as the former survived that attack, only to go out the way of You Are Already Dead after a Single-Stroke Battle with the Black Ranger.
    • Creator King Ryuuwon died at the end of Boukenger when the team blew up their base when he tried to steal one of the team's Precious they collected. Moltor was killed by Flurios by being frozen alive and shattered into pieces.
    • Scaletex, the Camera Monster, the Amplifier Monster, Generalissimo, the Golem Warrior, the Statue Warrior and the Prince Warrior are destroyed on the ground level by various means, skipping over the Megazord battles their Sentai counterparts had.
    • Vulturus's Sentai counterpart, the Lemurian Mythical Beast, dies the first time by Bouken Red wielding Zuban, and then the second by Zuban with Ultimate Daibouken. His second death in Power Rangers is by the Mercury Ranger on ground level.
  • Power Rangers Jungle Fury
    • Rageku is killed in Gekiranger by Long; Jellica is killed in Jungle Fury by the Phantom Beast Generals, one of whom, Scorch, was partially adapted from Long.
    • The Black Shadow Guard easily falls to the Rangers' Jungle Master Zords, while the Gekirangers had to use all nine of their Geki Beasts to finish off Wagaku.
    • Sonimax of the Phantom Beasts falls to Jarrod, while Geki Violet finished off Gouyu.
    • Unidoom and Osiris are killed off on ground level by the Spirit Rangers and Jarrod, respectively, skipping over their giant size battles where Saidaioh killed them.
  • Power Rangers RPM
    • Kitaneidas gets used by Yogoshimacritein as a Human Shield in Go-Onger, while Crunch is stuck in the control tower when it collapses in RPM.
    • Kireizky goes down fighting Engine-Oh G-12; Kilobyte survives the RPM Ultrazord battle and is later destroyed by the Road Blaster.
    • Broiler Bot, Sat Bot, Manhole Bot and Dowser Bot are destroyed on ground level by various means, skipping over their Megazord battles.
  • Power Rangers Samurai
    • Recurring Shinkenger villain Juzo Fuwa dies near the end of the season after Red Ranger Takeru lands a fatal blow that cuts the former in half. In Samurai, its Blue Ranger Kevin that deals the fatal blow by shooting at him with his Water Bow.
    • Rhinosnaurus's Sentai counterpart, Yumebakura, falls to Daikai Shinkenoh's Ika Tenkuu Buster. Because the Claw Armor Megazord and the Samurai Battle Cannon were not supposed to appear until the Super season, he was instead destroyed by the Samurai Megazord.
    • Sgt. Tread from Clash of the Red Rangers goes down fighting the eponymous Red Rangers, Jayden and Scott, rather than getting used as a Human Shield by Batcheed/Professor Cog as he was in Shinkenger vs Go-Onger.
    • Armadeevil gets destroyed by the Claw Armor Megazord's Samurai Battle Cannon, while his Sentai counterpart, Marigomori, is felled when the Shinkengers use the hot-cold combo that they used on him in ground level.
  • Power Rangers Megaforce:
  • Power Rangers Dino Charge:
    • Due to time travel shenanigans, Wrench is destroyed in the past when the Dino Charge Rangers toss Sledge's ship into the sun, destroyed in the present when the Ninja Steel rangers blow up the Warrior Dome, and is brought back by Evox, only to be destroyed by the Beast Morphers Rangers. His Kyoryuger counterpart, Aigaron, has a simpler fate, dying in a Heroic Sacrifice to protect Candellia and Luckyuro from Icerondo.
    • Fury gets blown up on the ground by the Dino Charge Rangers, is presumably blown up with the Warrior Dome, and definitely dies after revival by the Beast Morpher Team. Dogold, meanwhile, dies in a final duel with Kyoryu Gold.
    • Chaos, the acting Big Bad of Kyoryuger, is destroyed for good by the combined attacks of Torin, Ramirez, Tessai and Candelilla; his Power Ranger counterpart, Lord Arcanon, is destroyed along with his servants, Singe, Conductro and Screech by Sledge and his crew. Meanwhile, Endolf (Singe) was killed by Dogold and Kyoryu Gold acting together and Killborero (Screech) was killed by Kyoryu Blue, Kyoryu Black and Kyoryu Green's team attack. Conductro and Halloween villain Scumlaw were decomposited from Icerondo, who was killed by Kyoryu Black with Aigaron's axe; Scumlaw fell to the Rangers' combined laser blasts.
    • Snide is initially destroyed by a combined blast by Heckyll, the Rangers and the Titano Charge Ultrazord, then destroyed in the Beast Morphers teamup by the Dino Thunder Rangers' Z-Rex Blaster. Neo-Geildon of Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger vs. Go-Busters was beaten by the Abarangers' Dino Bomber, only to come back for The Stinger and transform into Neo-Messiah ... only to be destroyed for real by the Ressha Sentai ToQger during their Early-Bird Cameo.
    • Doomwing survives his battle with the Dino Charge Ultrazord, only to fall to Zenowing as the Silver Ranger, a reverse of how Mad Torin went down in Kyoryuger.
    • Recurring Monster of the Week Stingrage is destroyed in Forgive and Forget by the Dino Charge Megazord Raptor Para Formation, while his Sentai counterpart, Debo Viruson, was destroyed by Deboss (Greenzilla).
  • Power Rangers Ninja Steel:
    • Juza Yumihari, the villain of Ninninger's summer movie, falls to Shurikenjin Dinomaru. As Dinomaru was Adapted Out of Ninja Steel, Lord Draven is destroyed by the Falconzord using his own dimensional-splitting arrow.
    • Yokai Kamaitachi, the first monster to fight the Ninningers and fall to Shurikenjin, was split into the identical monsters Ripperrat and Trapsaw. Ripperrat only fights the individual zords and is destroyed in giant size by the Rangers' combined laser blasts. Trapsaw, meanwhile, gets to fight and fall to the Ninja Steel Megazord.
    • Yokai Kasha and Spinferno are both Killed Off for Real in ground level by different means. Kasha was killed off by Raizo (Ripcon), while Spinferno is killed by a combined Ranger attack.
    • Mangetsu Kibaoni was fatally wounded by the Rangers in Ha-Oh Gekiatsu Dai-Oh, reduced to human size, and was confronted by Kyuemon Izayoi, who took his necklace and revealed his identity as Mangetsu's older half-brother before Mangetsu turned to stone and exploded. Brax was simply destroyed by the Rangers in the Ninja Blaze Ultrazord.
    • Ariake no Kata was fatally wounded by AoNinger and StarNinger and then absorbed by Gengetsu Kibaoni. Her counterpart Badonna, alongside the Ninja Steel-exclusive Cosmo Royale, was blown up when Victor and Monty (the resident comic relief) threw bombs at the pair. Cosmo Royale's suit was adapted from the unadapted Sentai Toqger's Baron Nero, who willingly sacrificed himself to allow Emperor Z to reach his One-Winged Angel form.
    • Gengetsu Kibaoni was weakened when Kyuemon Izayoi (whom he'd absorbed) broke out from within him, and was then destroyed by the six core Rangers in Gekiatsu Dai-Oh. Galvanax was weakened when Madame Odious used the Mega Mag to pull on the Ninja Steel he drank, and was then destroyed by all eight Rangers using their Steel Spin attack alongside the Ninja Nexus Prism.
  • Power Rangers Beast Morphers:
    • Enter in Go-Busters was divided into Avatar Blaze and Robo Blaze; the former dies aboard his Ripper Zord in Evox Upgraded, while the latter is destroyed by Nate with the Beast-X Ultra Bow. Enter ultimately meets his end in Go-Busters by the Team's combined Volcanick All-Busters Attack.
    • Escape, similarly divided into Avatar Roxy and Robo Roxy, ultimately transforms into a Megazord Zeta which is felled by the Go-Busters. That fate fell to Robo Roxy, while Avatar Roxy is blasted and de-rezzed by Ravi's Beast-X Blaster.
    • Cycletron is destroyed by Devon's Beast-X Blaster, sparring him from the brutal beatdown Tireloid endured from Blue Buster.
    • Needletron is destroyed by Zoey's Morph-X Cannon, rather than Red and Yellow's Sougan Blades as Needleloid fell to.
    • Tubatron 2.0 is destroyed by Devon's Cheetah Slash instead of the main trio's Ichigan Blasters like Tubaloid 2 was.
    • Keyloid was destroyed by Blue Buster and Beet Buster's Ichigan Buster Special Buster Mode and Morphin Blaster respectively. Keytron was destroyed by Devon's Beast-X Ultra Blaster.
    • Bulldozerloid is destroyed by the Lioblaster (which was Adapted Out of Beast Morphers), while Bulldozertron is destroyed by Devon's Cheetah Charge and Zoey's Jackrabbit Spin Kick.
    • Thieftron is destroyed by Devon with the Beast-X King Ultra Bow, instead of the main trio's Powered Custom attacks which fell Loupeloid.
    • Parabaloid 2 is killed off by the Go-Busters, while Robo Blaze offs Antennatron 2.0 in Power Rangers. This was likely because Parabaloid 2 was relatively harmless until he was possessed by the Messiah Card, so the writers needed an alternative to make the Rangers less like bullies.
    • The Gigadrone in Finders Keepers falls to the Beast-X Megazord, just like Jishakuzord did in Go-Busters. The difference is that the Wrecker Zord is edited into the fight, while Go-Buster Beet is absent from the equivalent fight.
    • The Omegadrone self-destructs in the Rangers' zord hanger, skipping over the final battle that brought down the Megazord Omega.
  • Power Rangers Dino Fury:
    • The show changed how the first Blue and Pink Rangers perished. In Ryusoulger, Master Blue and Pink were burned alive by a Minosaur Complete Body (Draknarok). Here, the Blue and Pink Rafkon Knights died when the Primal Ultrazord overloaded and killed them alongside the Green and Black Rangers.
    • Boomblaster's Ryusoulger counterpart Gunjoji was actually two identical brothers; one was destroyed by the fake Saden and the other by a combined attack from Blue, Pink, Black and Gold. Boomblaster, meanwhile, is destroyed by Gold's Master Saber.
    • Sizzurai is accidentally destroyed by a stray attack from Lord Zedd, sparring him from Yabasword's fate of getting crushed by the falling King Kishiryuoh (Primal Ultrazord).
    • Both Red Rangers suffer a Disney Death during the final battle, they even revive differently. Zayto pulled a Heroic Sacrifice using the Master Saber to defeat the NĂ©mesis Beast. He is revived by the Morphin Masters and returns to his team 6 months later. Koh dies to Eras after he fails to save her. After the others defeat Eras, they use a Ryusoul that was dropped in her body to revive Koh.
  • Power Rangers Cosmic Fury:
    • Kyuranger's Kukuruger is destroyed in a Megazord battle with Super KyuRenOh and Orion Battler, while Cosmic Fury's Doodrip is destroyed along with his Mega Squid Ship by the Cosmic Fury Zords, much like the un-adapted villain Eriedrone was.
    • Scorpio in Kyuranger pulled a Heroic Sacrifice to save his brother, Stinger, from Don Armage's attack. His counterpart, Krymzo, is one-shot KO'd by Javi's Stego Spike Axe.
    • Desgon is destroyed in a Megazord battle with RyuTeiOh. Quaddo, meanwhile, is one-shot KO'd by Izzy's Tiger Claw Daggers.
    • Jadana is actually imported from Zyuohger's Naria, rather than Kyuranger. Naria was killed by her boss, Ginis, in the final episode, after she dared pity him for his lowly origins. Jadana, meanwhile, is one-shot KO'd by Aiyon's Mosa Blaster.
    • Both Kyuranger's Quervo, and his Cosmic Fury counterpart, Omwhyzo, were struck down by unmorphed opponents. Quervo is struck down by Tsurugi with a single slash, while Omwhyzo is struck down by Tarrick (previously Void Knight) with two slashes.
