When your game is composed of multiple random events interlacing with each other, it's bound to require a lot of this trope.
- There's an exploration event where the leader of your expedition can become a Raven worshiper. Except if that leader happens to be Beren, a dyed-in-the-wool Elmali. The ceremony won't go forward, and you'll get a snippet of unique flavor text.
- If the clan that seeks to win Ayvtu's hand is feuding with yours, she will note in her messages back home that "it took a while for [her new husband] to get accustomed to me, and I to him". A special option will also pop up during the betrothal negotiations: asking the clan to forget all grievances against yours.
- Other clans will remember your clan's earliest Famous Event (as chosen in the prologue) and mention it in appropriately relevant interactions (ancestral diplomats will be mentioned in peacemaking requests, ancestral warriors will be praised when a clan is seeking to ally with you, etc).
- Characters other than the default traveller can tell you about Cenala, like the vengeful Gamari priestess, if her event triggers before that of the traveller's.
- Buying foreign goats not only makes your Herds number go up, but also gives you the buff "Herd Bounty", to represent how having new stock to breed with has made your native goats give birth to hardier kids.
- If you send emissaries just before the skyfall hits to the clan that gets annihilated by it, you'll get a unique message describing how the emissaries searched the ruins, but found no survivors.
- If Beren is on the clan circle during events pertaining to his courtship of Redalda, he will excuse himself so the other advisors can talk in private. Similarly, circle members aren't allowed to comment on events where there would be a conflict of interests, such as when they're involved in a legal dispute with another clan member.
- Some enemies in rituals can be overcome through seduction. Beren suffers a hefty penalty to any such attempts while he is in love.
