Stanley does not manage to trick Dr Neuman into looking at his zipper but manages to get into the rocket which he manages to hold on to tight and Masked Dr Neuman decides to swallow the rocket to eat Stanley but however Stanley gets off it just in time for Masked Dr Neuman to swallow it and stopping Pretorius's Plan but however Masked Dr Neuman starts chasing after Stanley but he sees his own face on a window and sees that his face is now green which leads to Masked Dr Neuman realizing that Stanley was right all along but however feeling the power of the mask he decides to keep it on and become a supervillain so that he does not have to go back to being his boring normal self again and eight months later Masked Dr Neuman is now a popular celebrity because of him using his powers to impress people but Stanley decides it's time to confront Masked Dr Neuman with what he's doing and after arriving at his house Stanley confronts him but however Masked Dr Neuman feeling guilty about the last time they met makes another mask and gives it to Stanley as a make up gift but Stanley decides to put it so that his alter ego The Mask can deal with him which The Mask does by being completely serious with Masked Dr Neuman telling him that he is not happy that he freed Pretorius, helped him with his plan to destroy Edge City and trying to kill Stanley who The Mask cares very much about and loves Stanley like he is his little brother which Masked Dr Neuman does not try to deny and though he decided to become a supervillain he doesn't want any bad feelings from Stanley or The Mask but The Mask told him he does not care and that if he tries to do something like that again he will stop Masked Dr Neuman no matter what but however a few weeks later The Mask sees that he might need Masked Dr Neuman's help in dealing with Pretorius's new plan.
Tropes
- Affably Evil: Even though Masked Dr Neuman decided to become a supervillain he is still polite and professional towards his patients and is very friendly towards children. When Stanley confronts him Masked Dr Neuman is being nice and polite towards him even making another mask so that Stanley can become his alter ego The Mask again and even though Stanley puts it on and The Mask is angry with him for everything he's done Masked Dr Neuman tells him that he does not want to be enemies with him because they are both powerful which shows that Masked Dr Neuman can be reasonable though insane and just wants things to be over between them peacefully.
- Ax-Crazy: Masked Dr Neuman is still psychotic but he does keep himself in check while he's out in public, does not react to Stanley or The Mask with hostility, tries not to go full on psychotic when there are children around and does it with people who are annoying or his fellow supervillains who try to force him to help them to commit petty crimes which Masked Dr Neuman does try his best to keep himself in control but when they start to threaten him he releases his control and goes full on psychotic on them and though he lets them live he reminds them not to try threaten him ever again which most of them agree to do just that.
- Badass Bookworm: Masked Dr Neuman is a fan of literature as he reads a book by H.G Wells and he is a powerful Reality Warper who can easily take down anyone who opposes him in just a few seconds flat.
- Big Bad: Pretorius is planning something which The Mask finds out from one of the people who works for him and despite not liking Masked Dr Neuman realizes he has no choice but to recruit him to help him to find out what Pretorius's plan is or where he is which Masked Dr Neuman agrees to help him do that and after going through all the people who might know what his plan is or where he is they eventually find out where he is and they confront him and they discover that his plan involves using the sister mask to make more masks as he saw Masked Dr Neuman making another one and manages to succeed with himself then another one a woman who also wore the mask as well Evelyn who is now her masked alter ego Eve who Pretorius manages to trap pretty easily and explains that he is planning to unleash thousands of masks onto Edge City that will bond with billions of people living there and he knows that some of them will join him in conquering the world with him even though he knows that there will be some like The Mask who will stand against him so he tries to imprison him but fails so he offers Masked Dr Neuman a chance to rule the world with him but Masked Dr Neuman refuses because he wants to be friends with The Mask and that ruling the world is too much for him to handle so Pretorius tries to imprison him but also fails as well. The Mask and Masked Dr Neuman manages to free Eve and went after Pretorius who tries to activate the machine that will send thousands of masks out into the open but they stop him just in time by using their powers and abilities to defeat him and removed the mask from him and handed him over to the police.
- Big Fancy House: Masked Dr Neuman turns his house into a manor with him having big gardens which he attends to, a bigger bathroom that is fit enough for ten people and gives himself a library as well.
- Bittersweet Ending: The Mask and Masked Dr Neuman along with Eve manages to defeat Pretorius and stop his plan but Masked Dr Neuman still prefers to be a supervillain than a hero but however he does tell The Mask that he can become his informant on the criminal underworld which The Mask agrees along with Eve and despite how things went between them at first The Mask does eventually forgive Masked Dr Neuman for everything he's done even though Stanley does not just yet and he along with Masked Dr Neuman and Eve become known as the Green Faced Trio by the public and over time The Mask and Eve become friends with Masked Dr Neuman visiting him every week to see how he's doing which he is doing well after having two people that he can consider his friends.
- Creepy High-Pitched Voice/Evil Sounds Deep: Masked Dr Neuman speaks in a deep serious voice when he's being serious and professional but however when he's around with children, gets annoyed or loses control his voice goes high pitched which shows that when he's around with children he eases up around them but when anyone or his fellow supervillains show up he gets annoyed pretty easy by them being idiots or wanting to commit petty crimes and when he's finally had enough he goes full on psychotic to show the people he's with that he's had enough of them.
- Deadpan Snarker: Masked Dr Neuman gets sassy with everyone when they are acting like idiots or dealing with any fellow supervillains who think it will be a good idea to force him to help them to commit crimes even when Masked Dr Neuman decides there are more important things to think about than robbing banks.
- Easily Forgiven: Averted as Stanley and The Mask do not forgive Masked Dr Neuman for releasing Pretorius, helping him with his plan and trying to kill Stanley as well which leaves both of them to be angry with him and also shocked as well that Masked Dr Neuman wants both of them to get along with him and doesn't want any bad feelings from both of them which clearly there are from them and The Mask gives him a warning that if he tries to do something like that again then he will take Masked Dr Neuman's face off completely which leaves him terrified as Masked Dr Neuman does not want go back to that boring old life and he begs him not to do that but The Mask says he does not have anyone to talk to with or without that mask which leaves Masked Dr Neuman to realize that he is right and ends up shocked on the floor and also ends up crying in his bedroom later on as a result.
- Enemy Mine: The Mask finds out that Pretorius is planning something but doesn't know what it is or where he is so he realizes that Masked Dr Neuman is the only one who can find out where he is or what's he planning so he goes over to his house and talks to Masked Dr Neuman about it which Masked Dr Neuman agrees to help him with that but The Mask makes it clear that if he helps Pretorius again he will not hold back and will take Masked Dr Neuman's face off to which Masked Dr Neuman is fine with that since he knows that The Mask is just as powerful as him so he will not do anything like that.
- Friendly Enemy: Masked Dr Neuman is very nice and polite towards both Stanley and The Mask even just wants them to at least get along but both of them are not having that.
- The Friend Nobody likes: Masked Dr Neuman thinks at first that he can get along with his fellow supervillains as they don’t like having to be told what to do but however to his frustration and disappointment he discovers that they rather commit petty crimes while Masked Dr Neuman wants to use good publicity to their advantage as while he genuinely likes helping people with their problems and also likes children, he sees that getting good publicity will keep them out of trouble but unfortunately for him he is ignored as his fellow supervillains prefers committing petty crimes instead of getting good publicity which leads Masked Dr Neuman to leave them after they tried to threaten him and he had to go full on psychotic on them and sees that there is no point in trying to convince them to join him which led him to see Stanley across the street which makes him to decide to meet up with Stanley at some point even though as he said he’s a goody two shoes, he will at least be someone he can actually talk to other than his fans.
- Hero-Worshipper: Masked Dr Neuman going through the news reports about The Mask becomes very much a fan of him because that they are both insane, creative and powerful as well, which was one of the reasons why he created another mask for Stanley so that he can meet The Mask in person which after The Mask tells him he is not interested because of everything Masked Dr Neuman done, Masked Dr Neuman is left heartbroken by it but later on when The Mask meets him later on because of the fact that he needs his help in looking for Pretorius or what his plan is, Masked Dr Neuman gets excited that he gets to work with him so while on the search he can't help but jumping himself up and down which leaves The Mask to be annoyed by him but he can see that Masked Dr Neuman is not really that bad of a person though he can see that he is psychotic but Masked Dr Neuman does keep himself in check only going full on psychotic when dealing with some of the criminals and/or supervillains when they refuse to answer their questions.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: The Mask does not like Masked Dr Neuman at all which he makes it clear to him but it is understandable since he freed Pretorius and was helping him with his plan to destroy Edge City and trying to kill Stanley as well and The Mask gives him a warning not to do that again. After that The Mask asks Stanley via letter that if it's all right that The Mask sticks around for a few months to keep an eye on Masked Dr Neuman which Stanley agrees showing The Mask cares very much about the people who live in Edge City and he makes sure that Stanley is okay with him being around for a few months which also shows The Mask cares very much about Stanley.
- Good Cop/Bad Cop: The Mask is the Good Cop while Masked Dr Neuman is the Bad Cop as they go after any criminals and any supervillains who might have information on what Pretorius's plan is or where he is with The Mask doing the talking first as he knows that Masked Dr Neuman is psychotic and takes pleasure in hurting and killing people unlike him so he warns them about what will happen if they don’t and says to them just tell him and Masked Dr Neuman what they know which some of them do but when some of them refuse to tell him he has to let Masked Dr Neuman do things his way so that they can get the information they need quickly as possible and eventually they do find out where he is but nothing about his plan at all but The Mask and Masked Dr Neuman are satisfied with the location they got on Pretorius.
- Good Feels Good: The Mask tells Masked Dr Neuman this is why he decides to become a superhero because helping people makes him feel great and Masked Dr Neuman while working with him on where Pretorius is or what his plan is agrees with him as despite being a supervillain he enjoys helping his patients, being friends with children and despite taking pleasure in hurting or killing people at first he will at least feel guilty about the one who is really innocent and not a bad person at all as time goes on as he admits that Stanley despite annoying him at times is really a good person and did not deserve to tried be killed by him which The Mask smiles seeing that Masked Dr Neuman is not really that bad of a person once he gets to know him over time.
- Humanizing Tears: Masked Dr Neuman after realizing that The Mask is right about him having no friends goes to his bed, curls himself up inside and starts crying under it which shows that Masked Dr Neuman is despite being psychotic a lonely being who just wants to have friends to talk to but can't because of what's he done.
- I Gave My Word: Masked Dr Neuman always keeps his word of doing something such as helping his patients out with their problems, keeps his promise that he made to himself not to go full on psychotic in front of any children knowing they will be traumatised for life if they see him going all violent and dangerous on the people who annoy him and also keeps his word to The Mask not to help Pretorius with that new plan of his keeping it right to the end.
- I Just Want to Have Friends: Masked Dr Neuman enjoys all the powers and abilities that he's got and enjoys all the popularity that he has but he discover over time that even before he had the mask he had no friends to talk to and all the power he has does not give him any friends at all which is why he wants Stanley and The Mask to get along with him because for Stanley he is the only one who is willing to talk to him face to face since the other people are either his frantic fans or are annoying to him and he’s not very popular with the supervillains because of the fact that he wants to focus on bigger things and for The Mask he is just as insane as him and powerful and probably the only one who he can have a friendly chat with and they are both creative with what they do but unfortunately for him Stanley and The Mask are not interested because of everything he did which leaves Masked Dr Neuman to cry in his bedroom but later on when The Mask meets him and tells him that Pretorius has a new plan but does not know what it is or has any idea where he is so he needs his help into finding what it is or/and where he is which leaves Masked Dr Neuman very excited and willing to help him since he can finally be with someone who he at least can consider closer to a friend.
- Laughably Evil: Masked Dr Neuman has moments like this while on the search for Pretorius such as he wants to get a couple of books which The Mask of all people tells him to focus on the task at hand but Masked Dr Neuman tells him he wants to get some even stomping his feet like a child, and later on does a wedgie twister on some of the criminals they are interrogating and leave them hanging from the ceiling, later on Masked Dr Neuman wanted to play on the roundabout with The Mask getting annoyed by the fact that Masked Dr Neuman wanted to do that of all things but decides to just go along with it.
- Lonely at the Top: Masked Dr Neuman though he has become a famous celebrity sees that he has no friends that he can talk to and living in his own house makes him feel that he is trapped despite all his powers and abilities so the reason he likes children is because he can understand how lonely some of them are like him and when Stanley confronts him on everything he has done Masked Dr Neuman is very pleased that he has come since no one goes to his house to talk to him even though Stanley was there for a different reason and one of the reasons he agrees to help The Mask is so he can finally have someone he can spend time with and do something other than sitting in his house reading and watching the news all day.
- Morality Pet: Any children are this to Masked Dr Neuman as he keeps himself from going full on psychotic when they around because he cares about them and does not want them to be scared of him going full on psychotic when he's annoyed by people so he keeps himself in control when dealing with them.
- Only Sane Man:
- The Mask and Stanley along with Charlie are the only ones who don't trust Masked Dr Neuman and they agree to keep an eye on him.
- Masked Dr Neuman is the only one who thinks that he and his fellow supervillains should do more than robbing banks and other petty crimes but he ends up being ignored by them which leads him to finally have enough and work on his own from now on.
- Pet the Dog: Masked Dr Neuman when confronted by Stanley decides to make another mask so that Stanley can become The Mask again even though he tried to kill him months ago.
- Psycho Psychologist: Downplayed as Masked Dr Neuman is being very helpful to his patients by using his powers to literally go inside their heads and helping them with the source of their problems, then gets rid of it after they defeat it by putting it inside his head which is a complete jungle of madness as he is genuinely insane but he does genuinely wants to help his patients with their problems which makes him very well liked by them as he is polite, professional and also very friendly to their children as well which even makes him more popular but he is still psychotic which he does keep it in check when he's around with his patients so they don't get scared of him.
- Villain with Good Publicity: Masked Dr Neuman is a supervillain who he's very much proud of being one but because of his polite nature, his professionalism and using his powers to help people he becomes very popular even with being given photographs by his fans which he signs all of them.
