Tumblr Company began life as a Band of Brothers role play on Tumblr, based around a "sister company" to Easy Company, "Test Company", an experimental unit of paratroopers that included women. Initially it featured a lot of contact with characters from the original canon, but over time has evolved into very much it's own creature.
This Roleplay contains examples of:
- The All-American Boy: Kiley Ratzinger and Rob Duncan are grown up versions
- Amazon Brigade: Test Company is largely this, though they have taken on a fair few male recruits and officers to bolster numbers
- Anyone Can Die: And they do.
- Betty and Veronica: The early days of the RP featured this sort of dynamic between Major Kailen Horn (Archie), Major Winters (Betty) and Lt. Colonel Speirs (Veronica)
- Chivalrous Pervert: Corporal Jesse West
- Contemplate Our Navels: A desperate want to go home, matched by being at a loss as to what the point of the war is.
- Distracted from Death: Major Kailen Horn, disappears to get a congratulatory drink, but doesn't quite make it back for the celebration
- Drinking on Duty: Occasionally a product of good things, most often a product of bad things, this drives the Company to questionable actions, and occasionally clashes amongst each other.
- Freak Out: Many people on many occasions, breaking under the strain of war or bending under the weight of copious amounts of alcohol (and on one occasion, morphine).
- Friendly Sniper: Private Lisa Nelson
- Gargle Blaster: 'Die Blutung Eisbar', a drink with a bleeding polar bear on the label which has been responsible for many of the company's more questionable decisions
- Heroic BSoD
- I Have You Now, My Pretty: Sergeant Roy Stewart, among other gentleman who appear to harrass the ladies of Test Company
- Ladykiller in Love: Jesse West, first with Hester Roth, and later with Stuart Freeman
- No-Holds-Barred Beatdown: On the discovery of Valesco's treachery.
- Quizzical Tilt: One of Captain Victor Sarn's many slightly odd mannerisms
- Southern Belle: Sergeant Veda Hawthorne
- Southern-Fried Private: A decent portion of the company members are from Southern states, but the two who best fit the trope are Sergeant Kiley Ratzinger and Private Lisa Nelson
- Team Dad: Staff Sergeant 'Papa Rob' Duncan
- War Is Hell
- Wartime Wedding: Rob Duncan and Ailidh Hutchinson, in the company CP no less
