The Swaucy Rebellion (stylized as "The SWaucy Rebellion") is a upcoming Action Platformer.

The game is centered around a poverty-stricken young man, known by the alias of The False Prophet. He is recruited by a wealthy entrepreneur called the "SWauce Boss" to find a rare substance known as SWauce- a red liquid, akin to tomato sauce. The SWauce (pronounced like "sauce" with a very heavy Boston accent) is said to be able to cure illnesses, like cancer; revive the dead, and most importantly to the SWauce Boss- is worth lots of money.

The discovery of SWauce has caused many competing sauce companies like Ragu and Classico to shut down. Seeking revenge, the president of Ragu, Professor Swagu (mocked as 'Fagu' by the SWauce Boss) seeks to find and destroy the SWauce Boss.

Following The False Prophet's adventures with both fighting sides, the game plays similarly to Metroid and Cave Story. The player can also make many choices that alter the story, in minor and major ways. The world is set up more realistically than normal platformers, with the areas being set up to be like a small world, like Cave Story's caves. One example is the SWauce Factory, where the platforms are catwalks over the many levels of the factory.

Below in the sub-sections are the many characters and their tropes, along with other tropes that the game has inside it.

    Characters

The False Prophet Joshua Straight

  • The Ace: He and his allies always win, because of him.
  • Badass: FP will beat the living crap out of anyone who opposes him... including SWauce Boss's personified ego.
  • The Chosen One: FP was chosen by the SWauce Boss to help him retrieve the original SWauce.
  • Heroes Prefer Swords: FP uses a wide range of weapons, from sticks to pistols.
  • I Know Madden Kombat: FP also uses weapons with an over-sized golf club.
  • Informed Flaw: Many characters, mostly the SWauce Boss, constantly remind The False Prophet that he is very poor.
  • Katanas Are Just Better: The katana is among one of the best weapons in the game. It's pretty sweet, dude.
  • Magnetic Hero: FP is able to make friends and persuade people relatively easily, to the point where he's controlling the entire operations of his fighting side.
  • Meaningful Name: His name, The False Prophet, was given to him when he betrayed the SWauce Boss before the game's events.
  • Only Known by Their Nickname: FP is only referred to as The False Prophet until his true name, Joshua Straight, is revealed near the end of the game.
  • Rank Up: FP goes from poor boy, to worker, and eventually, the chosen one who takes down the entire opposing side.
