The primary principle of business is that you get what you put in. You can’t succeed if you don’t meet demands. You can’t meet demands if you don’t provide supply. Therefore, I do what I must, for the company is constantly at risk. If I lose it, I lose everything, and I must do everything to keep it running, regardless of how YOU feel about it!
The Once-ler

The Lorax: Reimagined is a (currently unnamed) concept for a Pseudocanonical Fix Fic for The Lorax (2012) by AoeAbility. The idea was originally conceived in late 2018, when Aoe visited This Very Wiki’s page for The Lorax (2012), and found out about the deleted content, including “Biggering”. It caused him to reevaluate the movie as a whole, and especially the elements the adaptation introduced, resulting in the idea to take all the interesting takes on the original story the adaptation introduced and did nothing with, and make them the story’s primary focus.

A boy named Ted visits The Once-ler in his secluded home, curious about trees, which he heard grew all around once upon a time. He asks The Once-ler what happened to them, and he reluctantly agrees to tell him the tale of how he rose to power, fell from grace, and brought down the forest along with him. As Ted learns more and more about the dark past of the world he knows, he eventually convinces The Once-ler to leave his seclusion to face his past, and while they’re on their way home, the story continues to unravel as both discuss their past and their present.

Intended to be an animated movie, much like the original 2012 adaptation, The Lorax: Reimagined is updated upon only sporadically, is still in the planning stages, and probably will remain so for years. It is also intended to be a musical with heavy Pink Floyd influences, though, only time will tell whether this will be the final idea or not.
