A series of Gamebooks by Kriegsmesser that can be roughly described as Stone Punk Heroic Fantasy with Airships, Sky Pirates, and Dinosaurs.
This series provides examples of the following:
- The Alleged Airship (The airship the player is on the crew of and later pilots is actually called The Alleged. It's eventually up to the player if this trope is invoked or merely referenced.)
- Arc Number (Six, coincidentally the number of sides on a die.)
- Call a Rabbit a "Smeerp" (Many of the monsters are very noticeably based on certain memorable animals.)
- Cool Airship (The Alleged, while technically a rather small vessel is still an airship.)
- Dirty Coward (A cowardly player will receive fewer rewards, less respect, which will make the later books increasingly more difficult. However, see Leeroy Jenkins, below.)
- Garnishing the Story: With dinosaurs and Pirates.
- Leeroy Jenkins (Reckless endangerment of yourself and others is one of the quickest ways to die.)
- The Many Deaths of You (There are a lot of ways to die.)
- Not Using the "Z" Word (Nowhere in-universe is anything referred to as a "dinosaur".)
- Parental Abandonment (The player's mother is dead, and the identity of their father is unknown.)
- Shout-Out (More than a few, though most are at least relatively subtle.)
- Sky Pirates (Of course.)
