The Shattered Saga is a set of three Killing Game roleplays based off the format set out in Danganronpa. These three games all take place within one continous universe, with events spurred on by the actions of player OCs both within and outside of the games.
The Saga's games include:
Despair Penitentiary, hosted from March 2020 to April 2020. This game is hosted in the middle of the timeline by Jericho Malum, a psychologist working for a fledgling nation called the New World. It takes place within the eponymous Despair Penitentiary.
Clover's Fantasia, hosted from November 2020 to December 2020. This game marks the beginning of the Shattered Saga timeline, and is hosted by Maria Lerohapu. This game was the start of the Ravensloftian Institute's [[Evil Plan]], and subsequently the start of things going very wrong. It takes place within a heavily modified version of the Institute.
Shattered Moonlight, hosted from June 2021 to July 2021. This game is the end of the Shattered Saga's timeline, and has several potential hosts. It takes place on the Lunex Facility, a secret moon base belonging to the former United States, though now commandeered by the Red Winged Rebellion.
Though these games are ultimately separate in their events, they connect themselves through one narrative and one contingent set of mysteries that are solved piece by piece through each game in the story.
- The Plague: This world is quite like ours, except for the Ravensloftian Institute deliberately releasing a psychosomantic disease called the Dread Pestilence that causes full societal collapse.
- Batman Gambit: The success of Clover's Fantasia as part of Isaac Ravensloft's plan relied completely on the participants choosing to believe that Maria wasn't a willing host.
- Mascot Villain: Frank the Monoraven is companion to this game's host, Jericho. Frank returns in Shattered Moonlight, alongside Jericho himself. Though it's possible for Jericho to not be the main threat to the participants, he's always plainly antagonistic to the cast, making Frank his villainous mascot.
- Detonation Moon: The True Ending route of Shattered Moonlight requires the OCs blow up the Lunex Facility with a misfire of the Orbital Strike Satellite. Such a decision also takes a significant chunk of the moon with it.
