Darth Wiki / Recon Order Ports

Go To

Reconstructed Order: Ports are stories in which one or more characters from Random Jedi Order end up in various Canon or Alternate Universe versions of other series. They are written by Ameliette, just like the other RJO-verse stories. For tropes pertaining to the Avatar: The Last Airbender port, see When Good Girls Goto War, and for the second Uncharted port (ofter called mirror-canon), see Forged Family.

General port tropes:

  • Humanity Ensues: For any nekera or other non-human when ported into a human-only setting.
  • The Stations of the Canon: Usually followed without much divergence. Even WGGW follows the major ones in book 1 loyally.
  • Trapped in TV Land: And the best way to ensure you get out is to band with the heroes and help them complete their story.

Star Wars: Old Trilogy (Rebellion Trilogy)

Amy and Zuko land on Tatooine just in time to witness Luke and Obi-Wan meet, and Obi-Wan asks them along on the journey.
  • In the Hood: Amy goes like this on Tatooine to avoid attention.
  • Underestimating Badassery: Do not assume the tiny girl drinking the galaxy's most potent drink is going to appreciate your advances.

Sly Cooper

Amy and Will, from year 2019, end up in Sly Cooper's universe, year 1994, the night Sly's parents were murdered. Amy and Will were shrunk to kids, and after saving him from the burning house, are his first friends in the orphanage, eventually becoming valuable teammates.
  • Accidental Innuendo: "I'm not going to abandon good old number two." Pointed out by a fellow writer.
  • Afraid of Doctors: Sly hates doctors and needles, but can tolerate Amy, so it seems to be a fear of hospitals.
  • After-Action Healing Drama: The second interlude drags on mostly because of this.
  • After Action Patch Up: Sly has a habit of causing serious grief to Amy by getting hurt all the time.
  • Brainwashed and Crazy: Penelope.
  • Break the Cutie: All of them.
  • Cold-Blooded Torture: What happens in The Hole.
  • Doctor's Orders: While Sly usually doesn't mind Amy ordering him around, the two clash on this matter after the second Clockwerk incident.
  • Easy Amnesia: After Sly hits his head in the finale of Honor Among Thieves, he loses all his memories for a short while, but he regains most of those in the following hours. His concussions though make sure that his memory of the whole day will be fuzzy forever.
  • Fainting: Poor Sly. Faints out of exhaustion and illness on a rooftop in Paris. In rain.
  • Faking Amnesia: For some time, until Carmelita tells Sly she knew all along.
  • Fantastic Drug: Whatever was fed to Sly in Contessa's prison.
  • Forgiven, but Not Forgotten: How Carmelita decided to deal with Sly faking amnesia. She admits it was very selfless of Sly to leave his gang behind, but will keep an eye on him and kick him out if it seems it's a ruse or Sly's going back to his criminal ways.
  • Gender Flip: Sir Galleth is a girl.
  • Give Him a Normal Life: Why Penelope left her kids to her parents just prior to Thieves in Time.
  • Hellhole Prison: The Contessa's prison would be one even without the Hole.
  • Lampshaded Double Entendre: "Do I need to tie you to the bed?" Sly spares Amy from embarrassment and only lampshades it in his head.
  • Lineage Comes from the Father: Moreso than in canon. Sly's mother was a lynx, but does he resemble her at all?
    • Subverted with the post-Thieves in Time kids. Sly and Carmelita's daughter doesn't resemble Sly at all, and Bentley and Penelope's twin daughters also resemble their mother a lot more than their father.
  • The Men in Black: A mostly benign version checks up on Sly and Amy, appointing the latter as the former's magical guardian.
  • The Patient Has Left the Building: Sly sneaks out into the rain when no one's looking, despite still having pneumonia.
  • Polar Opposite Twins: Maria and Niels, Penelope and Bentley's kids.
  • Poor Communication Kills: Sly has a mental breakdown post-Band of Thieves thanks to Amy not understanding why he won't stay still.
  • Post-Victory Collapse: First time, it's because Sly really needs to rest his head. Second time, he's sick. The third time he got hit so badly it affected his memories.
  • Pregnant Badass: Carmelita during Thieves in Time, although she doesn't know it.
  • San Dimas Time: In Thieves in Time, time passes at the same rate for the travelers and for "current day".
  • Shipper on Deck: Amy and Will for Sly/Carmelita and Bentley/Penelope.
  • Sick Episode: The second interlude.
  • Sixth Ranger: Jing King for Thieves in Time.
  • Small Girl, Big Gun: Will and her sniper rifle.
  • Street Urchin: Carmelita implies Sly and the others might've ended up like this in some other states.
  • Take Me Instead: Amy offers herself to LaFwee in place of Penelope, trying to prevent the girl's descent to darkness.
  • Team Mom: Amy
  • The Trope Kid: Tennessee Kid Cooper, still young enough to have that nicname. (He's barely 18.)
  • Working Through the Cold: And not just a cold, Sly pretty much has pneumonia by the time Clockwerk is finally defeated.
  • You Can Barely Stand: Sly at the end of the seconds Clockwerk incident.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

After having previously helped the Avengers with the Chitauri invasion alongside Hermione, Ginny, Vivio, Caro and Lutecia, Amy lands alone in the middle of Coulson's war.
  • Newspaper Dating: Not only does Amy locate and time herself from a tabloid, it also clues her into what universe she landed in.
