Princess Fighter is an upcoming Urban Fantasy Eastern RPG based on original characters by Justin Eddy and Arthur Tiongson.
One day in the mall, Princess Kyra spots some monsters attacking a shop. After defeating them, she tells the other girls and they wonder who the threat is. More strange things happen and it becomes apparent that an alien force is at work here.
There are spoilers so be careful!
This game provides examples of:
- Amazon Brigade: All of the playable characters are Magical Girl princesses.
- Auto-Revive: The Goddess Band accessory grants this. Angelena, Kyra and Saya's Auto-Life combo can also grant this.
- Alien Abduction: Maeve who was forced to raise the Big Bad and ended up in Eveamid.
- Arbitrary Headcount Limit: You cannot have more than 6 members in your active party.
- Anti-Debuff: Some pieces of equipment prevent one status ailment, while the higher end ones prevent all of them. The final boss has a spell to remove status immunity, and can inflict status ailments himself.
- Big Bad: Kamau.
- Combination Attack: Two or three princesses can do a combo skill which can do devastating damage.
- Co-Dragons: Richard Cromwell. He was a former teacher at St. Beatrice where he tortured Helen Flammond. He was executed by the city, but was revived by Kamau.
- Queen Kabuki, who used to be the Princess Fighter's former enemy.
- Fire, Ice, Lightning: There is also Water which is the same as Ice, Flower and Heaven.
- An Ice Person: Negami is the Ice princess and uses ice magic to attack enemies.
- Happily Adopted: Angelena is the adoptive mother of Arisha and Hanasaki. She loves them like her own child, Vangelena.
- High-Heel Power: All playable characters equip high heels as weapons.
- Infinity -1 Sword:
- The Neon Pumps. You have to get it by defeating a boss. It can be equipped by Hanasaki and although it has higher attack power than the Lime Pumps it causes her to deal random damage.
- Magical Girl: All of the playable characters.
- Missing Main Character: At the Dark Palace, Kyra is kidnapped by a space pirate, after the party fails to defeat Kamau in their first confrontation. There is a lengthy sidequest to bring her back however.
- New Game Plus: Unlocked by defeating Kamau. You keep anything that is not a key item and retain all of your data. Additionally you can now fight Kamau at any time since his lair is available at all times unlocking different endings.
- Hyperactive Metabolism: Most healing items are consumables including candy, chocolates and riceballs.
- Good Old Fisticuffs: How the princesses fight physically. Most of them know martial arts.
- Optional Party Member: Angelena and Alana are not required to beat the game.
- Support Party Member: Although Hitoshi has Love Typhoon, an offensive spell, most of her skills are support spells such as Protect which increases an ally's defense.
- Status Buff:
- Attack, magic and speed can be increased by using capsules.
- White Roses permanently increases magical defense.
- Hitoshi's Protect, Saya's Haste and Angelena's Magic Shell spells, which boost defense, speed and magical defense respectively.
- Title Drop: Princess Fighter can refer to the work or the team name.
Characters
Since the game has a lot of characters, they are put into folders.
Main Party / Protagonists
In General
- Bare-Fisted Monk: They fight using kicks and punches.
- Pretty Princess Powerhouse: They are princesses but they also protect New Tiongson City.
- Petal Power: Many flower-type princesses has this as part of their skillset.
- Magical Girl Warrior: They are princesses and they can fight with magic.
Kyra Akina
The leader of the Princess Fighters. She is the lilac princess.
- Can't Drop the Hero: Until she gets kidnapped at least.
- The Heroine: Of course.
- Lightning Bruiser / Jack of All Stats: Kyra has balanced stats across the board and is quite fast.
- Vine Tentacles: One of her skills is that she can whip an enemy with a lilac vine.
Saya Akina
Kyra's younger sister and the sunflower princess. She is not as reliable as Kyra, though she makes up for it with her fun attitude.
- Sunny Sunflower Disposition: She is the sunflower princess and is very cheerful.
- Support Party Member: Her offense is very low, but she is the only party member with access to Haste.
Negami Toshiba
Negami is the Ice Princess. She is very intellegent.
- An Ice Person: She is the Ice Princess though she shares the same element as Water-type princesses.
- Kill It with Ice: Her combo skills with others can be devastating, such as Ice Whip (with Kyra), Blizzard Petals (with Lauren), Glacier (with Naoki), and any of the Fire & Ice attacks (with Arisha).
- Stone Wall: She has high defense and her magical defense is the highest in the game but her attack power is low.
Hanasaki Akiko
Hanasaki is the Lightning Princess. She is technologically inclined.
- Shock and Awe: She can cast green lightning skills.
- Fragile Speedster: Hanasaki is one of the fastest characters in the game and can do lots of damage. She is also made of tissue paper.
- Tomboy Princess: Although she is a princess, she also makes inventions.
Arisha Tsubaki
Arisha is the Fire Princess.
- Playing with Fire: She is the only princess that can cast Fire.
- Hot-Blooded: She is the most temperamental of the team.
- Mighty Glacier: She is one of the slower party members, and her defenses are lacking.
Hitoshi Mitsuki
Hitoshi is the Love Princess and the youngest of the group.
- Power of Love: Love Aura is her first technique and it can heal one's wounds.
- Girlish Pigtails: She sports one along with her pink hair.
- White Magician Girl: She has mostly support spells, but she has one offensive spell, her ultimate attack, Love Typhoon.
Naoki Mitsuki
Naoki is the Aqua Princess.
- Desperation Attack: Her Mermaid Tail skill deals more damage the lower her HP.
- Kill It with Water: She uses Water magic as the Aqua Princess.
- Making a Splash: Being the Aqua princess, she is good with Water magic.
- Summon Magic: Mermaid Tail. She can also summon Qualzi, a water spirit as part of a combo with Angelena.
Yvette Langley
Yvette is the White Rose Princess. She is the eldest of the noble family Langley which also owns Langley Corp.
- Anvil on Head: Her Ton Shatter skill allows her to drop 10-ton weight on an enemy.
- Desperation Attack: Her Ton Shatter skill deals more damage the lower her HP.
- Ojou: She is part of a noble family and is also a princess fighter.
Natasha Morrigan
Natasha is the Fuschia Princess.
- Petal Power: She can control fuschia petals with wind.
- Jack of All Stats: Like Kyra, her stats are balanced, though she has worse speed, but slightly better magic defense.
- Video Game Stealing: Natasha can use her Charm skill to steal items from enemies. With Hitoshi she can use Twin Charm which only steals rare items.
Trinity Carlson
Trinity is the Silver Lightning Princess. She is best friends with Natasha and Cecilia.
- Badass Adorable: She is a cute little girl but she could kick your butt.
- Fragile Speedster: She is among the fastest characters but she can't take many hits.
- I Know Aikido: Her physical fighting style.
- Little Miss Badass: She is 15 years old and can hit hard with lightning and punches.
- Shock and Awe: Her magical skills involve silver lightning sharing the same element as the other lightning princesses.
Cecilia Lamberg
Cecilia is the Gold Lightning Princess. She is best friends with Natasha.
- Fragile Speedster: She is quite fast but she has the defense of tissue paper.
- Shock and Awe: She is the gold lightning princess and shares the same element with other princesses.
Helen Flammond
Helen Flammond is the Cherry Blossom Princess. She is the daughter of Gen David Flammond of the Intergalatic Space Federation.
- Break the Cutie: Richard Cromwell tormented her at St Beatrice. He was executed and she got better though.
- Cherry Blossoms: Her primary element.
- It's Personal: She joins the party when it is discovered that Richard Cromwell has been revived.
- Fuuma Shuriken: She can throw these as part of her skillset.
Melanie Floral
Melanie is the Calla Lily Princess. She is a nurse at Rhea Medical Clinic.
- Combat Medic: She can heal and fight using her Calla Lily powers.
- Energy Donation: She can give her MP to another princess fighter.
- Jack of All Stats: She has very well balanced stats, with decent attack, defense, magic and speed.
Sakura Hinatsuru
Sakura is the second Cherry Blossom Princess. She is a former member of her father Shiro's Yakuza. She is adopted by Gen David Flammond making her Helen's adoptive sister.
- Cherry Blossoms: Shared with her adoptive sister Helen.
- Fuuma Shuriken: Like Helen, she can also throw stars.
- Mighty Glacier: Her offense is on par with the Glass Cannons, but she is the slowest character unless her Speed is increased either by capsules or doing her personal sidequest.
Alana Scarlet
Alana is the Blue Water Lily Princess. She is best friends with Cecilia and Natasha.
- An Ice Person: She can cast Ice 2 like Negami.
- Kill It with Water: She is a Water-type princess.
- Optional Party Member: She can be recruited at Notre Dame University later in the game.
Lauren Cairine
Lauren is the Blue Heart Lily Princess.
- Good Old Fisticuffs: She specializes in martial arts.
- Glass Cannon: She has a strong offense, but her defenses are poor.
- Magically Inept Fighter: She has strong kicks and punches, but she has the worst magic attack.
Angelena
Angelena is the Heavenly Princess. She is Arisha and Hanasaki's mother.
- Defeat Means Playable: She has to be fought and defeated before she can be recruited.
- Light Is Good: She is the sweetest angel, and most of her attacks consists of shooting beams of light.
- Light 'em Up: Her element is Heavenly Light.
- Lightning Bruiser: She has the highest magic attack and is very strong, has high HP, has decent defenses and is rather fast.
- Secret Character: She is recruited late in the game, after the party has access to the Hovercraft.
Antagonists
Kamau
The grim leader of the invading alien forces. He leads the invasion to take revenge for the theft of his race's secret of magic.
- Big Bad: The main villain of the game.
- Happily Adopted: Maeve loved him like her own child.
- Final Boss: The second to final battle of the game is against him.
