The webcomic MSF High had a now-defunct forum game, found here, which itself spawned several IRC channels with a separate continuity, where things often go in a completely different direction than on the forum itself.
This is the page for both the main IRC 'continuity' as well as for other IRC-based games such as the Legion RP.
(DISCLAIMER: Both the Forum RP and IRC channels of this article's origin are defunct. Either abandoned or lost by server failures and the exodus of several community members. The contents of this article should be considered non-canon to MSF High as a whole, and do not represent it or its current community, but out of respect will be left intact.)
Here's a list of characters from MSF High's IRC rooms.
In-Character (main RP)
Jax / Ash Inaria
A nine-tailed kitsune shrine maiden with a Ranma-style gender curse.- Divine Parentage: Ash found out she's the daughter of Inari
- Marshmallow Hell: So often a victim of this that on IRC this is known as 'Jaxing'.
Case Duo / Casey Devroe
Robot boy turned robot girl turned foxgirl. Was originally created by an Expy of Doctor Doom as a son/assistant but turned out, to his/her parents' annoyance, to be good.- A.I. Is a Crapshoot: A Heroic Example: Programmed and brought up to have almost no empathy or ability to be anything but evil. Turned out to be a Love Freak who aspires to be a superheroine and is more than willing to put others' needs ahead of her own.

- Full-Contact Magic: Comes with being a Martial Arts Facet user.
- Gender Bender: Went from a Male Mecha to a Female one, finally settling on a domestic female fox demihuman.

However, she still enjoys a good brawl, practices martial arts (and now incorporates magic into them) and still plans on overthrowing her creators. Violently.
- Elegant Gothic Lolita: first forced on her by her closet. Now a preferred choice in clothing.
- The Gunslinger: Other times she's this.
- Happily Adopted: Considers Crystal her real mom.

- Interspecies Romance: Legion female with....well, see other members of Ash's harem.
- Technical Pacifist: Danielle, as a rule, doesn't believe in killing anyone if possible, and prefers to seek non-violent solutions to problems, but doesn't object to violent means if no other solutions are available.
Demona Incee
- Absurdly Youthful Mother: Is not even really a year old and has two children with May.
- Divine Parentage: Demona's mother, by birth, is Ash. So her grandmother is Inari.
- Heinz Hybrid: She's a Succubus Legion Kitsunetaur. What more could you want?
- Interspecies Romance: Succubus Legion Kitsunetaur with the rest of her harem.
Veronica
- Canon Immigrant : Originally was from a Scion game run by one of the players
- Divine Parentage: Veronica's mom is Hathor
- Love Goddess: Like Hilda, her mom is a love goddess, however she's reluctant to use her powers on other people and the one time she used her powers on herself it ended badly.

All
- Bee People: The entire hive are literally anthro beegirls.
- N.G.O. Superpower: Could be considered this.
- One-Gender Race: All of her hive are women.
- Power Perversion Potential: All beegirls can shrink down to the size of an ordinary bee. If that isn't Power Perversion Potential what is?
Delwyn Ap Gwynedd
Shy, androgynous divine.- Corrupt Church: A victim of, coming from, more-or-less, the The Late Middle Ages.

- Odd Friendship: Word of God Casey started playing video games with him to help him come out of his room more often.
- Empy's approach is more Dragging her out of her room to force her to get some sun. And maybe go shopping.
- Meaningful Name: Nanashi roughly means Nameless. Fitting because Matoi doesn't remember his last name. At least the Scion version of her has the last name Manatsu, which means Midsummer, as in Midsummer Night's Dream (appropriate for a daughter of Tsukiyomi)
- Older than You Think: Matoi's name doesn't come from Kill la Kill. It comes from *Matoi and Matsuri* Tatsumi
- Out of Focus: Initially was his players PC, but fell to the wayside in favor of Casey. His player slowly is trying to get him more screentime

- Time Master: Has access to the Stars purview which also covers time manipulation
Miko Westworth
- Badass Normal: Uses mundane guns, hailing from a home planet that was filled with superheroes, supervillains, supernatural beings and other things that should by all means be immune to bullets. Didn't stop her, though.
- More Dakka: She's looking to expand her arsenal constantly.
Niko Easton

- The Unintelligible: Jusified early on because they were still pre-verbal.
- Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: Jade is terrified at the mere idea of Flying. Doesn't help Aurora can't wait till she can fly
Empy
An alternate Version of Casey who became an Evil Overlord- Canon Foreigner: originally from a game of Necessary Evil
- Even Evil Has Standards: She finds Dysdark's plans to be pretty damn stupid and horrifying, because without Dreams there would be no Ambition
- Hazy-Feel Turn: Basically has given up on going back home and settled down. She plans on concentrating on something less illegal when it comes to evil. Being a lawyer
- His Name Really Is "Barkeep": The Scion version of her's full name is Empress Carnage Duo.
- Homosexual Reproduction / Uterine Replicator: Is working on this so she and Brutality can have children. Mostly because he creators only made her because they waited too long to be able to make children the natural way

- Names To Run Away From Very Fast: Plans on naming their first child Vanity Ruination Duo.
- My Instincts Are Showing: Empy at times does things like curl up on people's laps for pets, sleeps in a oversized pet bed like what rich people in cartoons have for their dogs, and wags her tail when happy.
- Only Known by Their Nickname: Empy and Casey have the same name so everyone calls her Empy (Short for Empress).
- Power of Love: Only Reason she managed to arrive is that she was trying to "rescue" her girlfriend.
- Powerful People Are Subs: Word of God in private, Evil Overlord Empy is definitely the bottom in her and Bru's relationship.
- Precious Puppy: Is currently a martial corgi. According to her player, the only reason she didn't make Empy a poodle is that they think Corgis are cuter, plus too obvious.
- Spoiled Brat/ Royal Brat: One of the primary differences between Casey and Empy is Empy's creators treated her like a spoiled princess instead of a tool for conquest due to having waited too long to have actual children.
Most of the players are bronies and pegasisters, so they eventually made their own Original Characters. Rather than try to fit them into Equestria they created their own Nation called Epona
Notes for All of Epona
- Adaptational Badass: The Windgos were already a massive threat to ponies in canon, but didn't do much besides freeze ponies that had too much hate. Here? They basically are Icy Creatures of Grimm.

- Gadgeteer Genius: Her hat. She got her cutie mark (A gear surrounded by atom's lines) by building a Giant Robot. At 9!
