Still in work in progress, the story takes place in Siela, a Genius Loci, bioluminescent, Arcadia world, where there are have been no wars since the ancient times and peace reigns. One day however, the Nameless appear, creatures of nursury rhyimes intent on destroying the world, taking away its lights and bringing the Fading, their motives and origins unknown. As the Nameless spread across the north, the sole survivor, Marea Caedes, manages to reach safety and, decides to travel south, to ask the queen for help, and fight the catastrophe.

In the Guardianship compilation there are other side stories and prequels:
  • Guardianship is the "main" story. The others can give more depth and unravel mysteries of the main.
    • The First Guardians is a prequel, centered around the origin of all the 25 Guardianships minus the Guardianship of People
  • The Guardianship Side Stories are side stories completely unconnected with the main that sometimes include explanations of certain aspects of the main story.

  • All Deaths Final
  • All of the Other Reindeer: Thunderbird, and, to some extent, Uri.
  • Antagonist in Mourning: Thunderbir when his mother dies.
  • The Atoner: Uri Versvie, who is the main reason why the catastrophy began in the first place, desperatly wants to fix his mistake.
  • Break Them by Talking: Marea has been shown being very good at doing this, but is more often seen as the victim of it, by The Messenger and Veiss, who exel in driving her past the Despair Event Horizon.
  • Healing Magic Is the Hardest: Complete, 100% healing is impossible to everyone save for Light Holders; light is the rarest element, and only the very best can heal others completely, making healing an extremely rare occurrence (this is because Light Holders are the only ones able to interfere with Siela's Light in a way that allows them to alter the essence of life. Even then the manipulation isn't total). There are other techniques of healing depending on the element one holds, but can only heal marginal wounds or provide simple fist aid.
  • Internalized Categorism: Thunderbird is the most glaring example, who was despised by others for having the Soul of a Thunderbird, and gradually came to hate himself for it as well.
  • Irrational Hatred: Marea towards Uri, who despises him even after hearing his side of the story. She begins to change her mind after he defends her when Thunderbird and Veis attack.
  • Names to Run Away from Really Fast: Thunderbird. Wether his name was given to him or he assigned it to himself is unknown, it's the same name of the bird that his Soul takes form from, one fo the most hated creatures becaused considered the bringers of storms and hurricanes.
  • The Stoic: Marea and Thunderbird, both silent and passive characters.
