Die* Pistol, Die* Wizard, is an in progress story by Astriferous, and chronologically the first story in Era 2 of the CPC Verse.
Tropes include:
- Dead to Begin With: Memphis. Also Kaye. Her mother killed him so he couldn’t get into her plans.
- Desperately Looking for a Purpose in Life: Memphis. The twist is they do find it…once they die.
- Magical Girl: Or rather, Magical Non-Binary.
- Minimalist Cast: Memphis, Kaye, his mother, Imogen and Travis are the only major characters.
- Morph Weapon: Memphis' spear can turn back and forth into a Sinister Scythe.
- Psychopomp: Some of the dead witches also act as guides and soul carriers in the afterlife.
- The Unpronounceable: Witch names in general, which makes it more difficult to take control of them magically if anyone knows their name.
- Urban Fantasy
- Vain Sorceress: In the third act, Kaye's mother turns into a younger version of herself.
- Wicked Witch: Kaye's mother is this.
