- "One Strikes, Seven Fall" (Based on "The Brave Tailor")
Tropes:
- Only in Miami: This mystery series is set in Miami, as opposed to the Bohemian Forest and other such locations.
- Recycled with a Gimmick: The stories are retellings of certain Grimm fairytales reimagined as Detective Noir Novels.
- Friend on the Force: Even before becoming a private investigator, Scarlet is connected to the MDPD via her brother-in-law, Joel. She later gains another connection in the form of Joel's subordinate Matthew Farkas-García.
