As a horror mythos with thousands of dangerous anomalies, the SCP Foundation’s abundance of the Cruel and Unusual Death trope is likely to be expected.

---

SCPs 001 to 099

• Any living human who enters SCP-002 is turned into a form of furniture made of flesh.
• SCP-009 turns a person’s bodily fluids to more of itself when touched, which ends up causing them to painfully freeze to death.
• SCP-012 compels those who encounter it to use their own blood to try finishing the song, however they always end up dying of blood loss before they can.
• In one incident, SCP-015 killed a three-person team by dropping one man into a pipe full of molten glass, sealing a woman inside a mass of pipes and drowning her in honey, and sent the third member sliding down a pipe for days. He survived until his skin finally began to shred off, by which point death was clearly a mercy.
• Any biological matter, including humans, that comes in contact with SCP-077-1 will be transformed into a viscous ooze that has been identified as rotted flesh of potato tubers severely infected with potato blight.
• Individuals infected with SCP-081 will stuff themselves with as many nutrients as possible, eventually leading to spontaneous combustion a week later.
• The needed sacrifice for SCP-089 ends up taking around 2 hours for the baby to burn to death.
• Every instance of SCP-092 causes bizarre effects in the person. A few of these are lethal, and painful at that. Some examples include:
  • 042 and 043, which cause the listener to exude pentagonal nodules of manganese in the former, and caesium in the latter, which kill the person from either acute manganese poisoning or caesium burns.
  • 087, which causes any female listeners to become five-months pregnant only to then miscarry and succumb to organ damage within 4 days, while causing internal hemorrhaging in any males listening.
  • 200, which sends people to Himalia, the fifth-most massive moon on Jupiter, and causes them to succumb to hypothermia, hypoxia and radiation poisoning within 3 hours.
• SCP-096:
  • Those who see its face will be hunted down by the anomaly indefinitely until it catches them, to which absolutely nothing ends up being left of the victim.
  • SCP-096 itself ends up experiencing this in Consequences and Collarbones, getting its neck bones damaged and then injected with acid, destroying its skeleton from the inside out before being gunned down.
• SCP-098 will attack their prey in groups, spraying their wounds with a viscous mucus that prevents blood loss and immobilises them, before cutting away their flesh with their claws and eating them alive.

SCPs 100 to 199

• SCP-106 is a master at inflicting these. His most preferred option of killing is decaying people alive by touching them. On his page, it’s shown what he does to his victims via a photograph of one, and as you can tell from the page image, it’s not pretty. In the Broken Masquerade canon, Daniel DeVorn gets killed by 106 in this way.
• SCP-113 changes a person’s gender if they touch it, and the process can happen again and be reverted if 60 seconds have passed. But in 25% of cases, immediate second exposure results in the person not transforming correctly, often succumbing to massive bone, organ and tissue damage, partial obliteration of genitalia and often death by organ trauma or internal bleeding.
• Those who get bit by SCP-149 will have their regenerating cells converted into fertile mosquito eggs, eventually killing them when they hatch and exit their body en masse.
• SCP-153 will latch onto the face of any person unlucky enough to shower where it is camouflaging, sending an acidic substance into them that quickly liquifies their body, allowing it to feed.
• SCP-162’s memetic effect will cause people near it to want to jump into the ball, which keep in mind is covered in sharp objects. The expected result occurs, with the person frequently changing between enjoying the ball’s grasp to screaming in pain as several sharp objects impale them at once.
• Parodied with SCP-173-J, which will try to hug people so hard that they get crushed by its sheer weight.
• SCP-198 will bind to a person’s hand and drain all their bodily fluids, as they suffer from supernatural dehydration that can only be quenched by drinking the cup, which still eventually kills them from it draining their blood.

SCPs 200 to 299

• Those who touch SCP-221 will be compelled to use it to remove all their hair, fingernails, toenails, teeth, eyes, skins, and even internal organs, until they die.

SCPs 300 to 399

• Anyone who touches SCP-302 ends up being stung to death by ants over the course of a few days.
• If a person gets a body part exposed to SCP-310, they will slowly burn to death unless the affected part can be amputated, as the flame cannot be put out by any means.
• SCP-352 will lure people into her hair, which functions as a web, and then dismember them to stop them from wandering off before devouring them, in a process that usually takes several days.
• SCP-395 telepathically influences any woman within 5 meters of it, making them let it suckle on their teat, and once all their breast milk is gone, it’ll suck out their blood instead.

SCPs 400 to 499

• Anyone who touches SCP-409 will be slowly crystallised, with the process being described as extremely painful.
• SCP-426 ended up causing this to occur to an entire family; the wife ended up getting electrocuted by trying to consume an electrical socket, the grandmother gorged herself on 10 kg of bread before having her stomach ruptured, and the husband died from blood loss from unknown causes.
• SCP-439 use people as their hives and will use people’s internal organs as their breeding centres and food sources. In spite of this, the victim is alive the whole time, and will only die incredibly later of starvation.
• SCP-469’s wings inject a neurotoxin that activates all pain receptors in the victim’s body, which leaves them in absolute agony as SCP-469 feeds on their screams until the victim finally dies of blood loss.
• SCP-482 during Time Point Beta will end up triggering Body Horror in the wearer’s body relating to any mental illnesses they have, which very likely end up fatal without a Mercy Kill. Incidents include:
  • A man with schizophrenia being contorted and expanded in size until terminated.
  • A man with paranoia growing bulges on his body caused by mouths growing inside, psychologically tormenting him with voices until termination.
  • A man with satyriasis releasing sperm from every orifice before termination.
  • A woman with hyperphagia gaining a second digestive system that would’ve autocannibalised her from the inside out had it not been for early termination.
  • A man with pyromania spontaneously combusting caused by a new organ constantly producing heat.

SCPs 500 to 599

• At 1:43 AM, a day after pulling a card from SCP-517, several arms will appear around the unlucky victim, drag them into an enclosed space and beat them to death until sunrise.
• One test with SCP-528 involved dipping the putty into boiling water, which caused the person it was imitating to actually melt until he suffocated to death on his own nose.
• When frightened, SCP-538 will bite a victim’s shadow, which ends up leading to a 5 stage cycle lasting a full hour, with victims experiencing red and warm skin, heightened aggression, incredibly cold temperatures and an overly apologetic attitude, and finally their entire body rapidly dissolving into a translucent liquid as their shadow turns into more instances of SCP-538.

SCPs 600 to 699

• SCP-632 burrow into their victim’s sweat glands and travel to their brain, which they’ll then feast upon. This causes a minor headache, which can be alleviated by lightly tapping the closest part of their head, but as the headache gets worse, the victim needs to hit their head harder, which will eventually cave their skull in. And trying to just not hit their head will only be worse, as 632 will just eat the victim’s brains and eyes entirely.

SCPs 700 to 799

• SCP-734’s bodily fluids can cause anyone who makes skin contact with it to experience mass skin deterioration, with their bones and organs disintegrating over the span of several hours.
• Eating an instance of SCP-757-1 will cause a new organ to form within the victim that will form a fruit identical to the SCP-757-1 instance consumed, that is then regurgitated by the victim. While not lethal most of the time, if the fruit is too big, it’ll cause permanent tissue damage and possibly kill them.
• Those who view all 12 photos in SCP-767 will be violently attacked by SCP-767-15, being stabbed and cut by its tendrils and experiencing lacerations so severe that the corpse isn’t even recognisable, and eventually only a puddle of blood and gore.

SCPs 800 to 899

• SCP-804’s destruction of man-made artifacts also applies to human tissue, but it will do it at a slower and far more painful rate of decay, slowly making them become emaciated as they lose body mass, and eventually results in their skeletal structure collapsing and their body breaking down into component matter.
• SCP-823 is a master at these. Every single one of its kills is unbelievably horrific and bizarre, including:
  • Two individuals, one male and one female, being merged together at several points after exiting the Tunnel Of Love ride.
  • A mascot employee being found with stuffing inside his mouth, trachea and lungs, suffocating him to death.
  • 15 people riding a rollercoaster being decapitated in individual pairs.
  • Half an entire Mobile Task Force even received these types of fates, including one having eaten his own ammunition, one seemingly having swallowed his own teeth and broken his own jaw, and one other having received forced sexual entry through left eye.
• SCP-867’s leaves will inject a seed into the skin of whoever touches it, and after around two weeks, will start to grow within the victim, spreading throughout their circulatory system in an extremely painful manner, rupturing the victim’s veins upon enough growth, which leads to severe internal bleeding, before finally bursting through and consuming the victim’s body, all within 24 hours.
• Upon release, SCP-875-1 instances will swarm the nearest person and sting them mercilessly. This would already be bad enough, but the creatures have an acidic sting, which ends up rendering people’s limbs completely liquified.

SCPs 900 to 999

• SCP-956 will paralyze its victims (children under 12) and then bludgeon them until their torso ruptures, at which point they’ll discharge candy made from their own innards.
• SCP-966 instances kill in an incredibly torturous way. Before feasting, they remove their victim’s ability to sleep and leave them constantly tired, hallucinating and left with deadly insomnia, and then once they strike, they’ll rip them apart and eat them alive.
• SCP-973:
  • Anyone who goes above the speed limit randomly set by Smokey will be chased down by the creature until it reaches them, to which their corpses display signs of evisceration, rape, and one final expunged example, with some incidents having the victims be unrecognisable.
  • In Ihp/Locke’s proposal, Smokey ends up succumbing to one of these himself. He’s force-fed SCP-5740-A, donuts by dado that cause cops to shit out pigs, with the number depending on how corrupt they are. And due to the things Smokey does to his victims, as described above, he shits out so many pigs that dado runs out of them, causing him to explode and destroy SCP-973-1.
• Every verse of SCP-983’s song will age the person listening by a year until they’re left as nothing but a skeleton.
• SCP-987-K presents a scenario where a man trying to install a new chandelier ends up caught in the elaborate lighting fixture, which then ends up causing a wire to wrap around his neck, simultaneously strangling and electrocuting him.

SCPs 1000 to 1499

• Anyone who comes in contact with SCP-1034 is forced to use it to sew all their facial orifices shut, before remaining in a sitting and standing position correspondent to their original position, dehydrating until they die. A criminal who had been using the SCP to torture (and possibly rape) his victims later had the tables turned and the device used on him.
• Wearers of SCP-1035 will have their flesh slowly decompose while they’re still alive, with death being guaranteed if worn for more than 24 hours.
• Those who hear the scream of SCP-1048-A will have ears grow inside of their throats, suffocating them to death.
• SCP-1155 rips its victims apart, puts their body parts in an unknown location it resides in and keeps them to eat later.
• In its beta state, SCP-1300 will liquify everything inside a person, steal it, and replace it with “biomatter” that still guarantees death.
• SCP-1307 will cause any pencil sharpened with it to bond to the person’s hand, to which the sharpener will increase in size and grind the user into a meaty paste over 4 hours.
• Upon her behaviour change, ignoring SCP-1337 will result in her inflicting the same injuries she endured in her death to the driver, specifically removing their heart and gouging out their eyes.
• SCP-1407 will spread wires across the insides of a wearer’s body, causing rashes, impaired vision, cysts and haemorrhoids. While this doesn’t seem to be lethal, if the earbuds are exposed to any noise louder than 115 decibels, they’ll replicate both the sound and themselves, until they burst out of the victim’s orifices and tissue.

SCPs 1500 to 1999

• Both SCP-1529 and SCP-5140 have a similar, and equally painful, method of murder. Both will drain the heat energy from a victim’s body, causing them to die of hypothermia. The difference between the two is that 5140 additionally converts the corpse into a new instance of the SCP, allowing the process to start over again
• Following the GOC throwing it into a wood chipper, SCP-1609 adopted the killing method of teleporting itself into people’s insides, shredding them apart with internal splinters.
• Exposure to SCP-1875-IMG-1AB will trigger effects in the viewer over several hours, starting off with paranoia, then progressing to headaches, insomnia and hallucinations, then self-mutilation, and a final redacted stage.

SCPs 2000 to 2999

• The people featured in SCP-2030 suffer this every episode. Some instances including a woman getting her stomach bursted open by pigeons, a man getting skinned and filled with live squirrels, a woman getting converted into a collection of Margaret Thatchers amalgamations, and several others.
• Drinking SCP-2057 after reheating it will cause the victim to grow feathers, a chicken beak, act like a chicken and eventually die of cardiac arrest from their internal organs becoming a chicken’s organs.
• SCP-2086 uses a gas similar to chloroform on it’s passengers, to which it then takes them to its nesting grounds and lets it’s children feast. The way the children kill their prey is by forcing them into a hole under their hood and taking them to where the driver seat is located, to which small hair-like appendages hold the victim in the driver’s seat and completely drain their blood. The chloroform has most likely worn off at this point, which means the victim is entirely conscious through the process.
• Reading SCP-2126 out loud will cause the victim’s hair to start growing downward, growing by 1.25 cm per month and slowly penetrating the victim’s organs and innards. While the page itself doesn’t go into too much detail, the author realised the Fridge Horror over the concept in the page’s discussion tab, and how painful and horrifying it might be to have hair penetrating and damaging their organs, like causing loss of muscle control, growing into the bladder (potentially shredding the penis if the victim is male), or even suffocating on their own hair if they have a hairy chest. Either way, the victims are still guaranteed to die once the hair penetrates their vital organs.
• SCP-2271 will cause those who read it to become desperate to repay the loan, selling all their possessions, and eventually parts of themselves until they die from trying to package their internal organs.
• SCP-2401 infests human bodies and uses them as their hive, ala SCP-439. Unlike that, the process isn’t as lethal and not an And I Must Scream fate, but males will still die quickly after the process.
• If an amount of SCP-2484 exceeding 235 grams is removed from its container, it will attempt to enter the body of the nearest vertebrate animal, by force if necessary. If any vertebrate animal eats enough SCP-2484, the eggs in SCP-2484 will hatch and grow into worms that consume the victim's body.
• Parodied with SCP-2559-J, which will flood a room and crush the people in it under the amount of kittens it spews out.
• SCP-2718 is a sort of inversion, where people who die still remain conscious even after death and during decomposition, feeling all the pain that would normally come from it.

SCPs 3000 to 3999

• This is the inevitable fate of all SCP-3003-3 instances, who will be harvested for organs while alive and conscious as soon as they are no longer of use. They all know this, and don't care one bit.
• The people in videos affected by SCP-3006 will eventually be violently crushed to death under several copies of themselves, or otherwise ripped apart by said copies. Turns out this also applies to security footage as well, as shown in an interview between a Foundation Scientist and JonTron.
• SCP-3045 being tested on Bee Movie a fourth time resulted in the film becoming 278 minutes of Ken being horrifically stung to death by an ocean of bees, with the article describing his facial features being buried under stingers, and his throat finally swelling shut before he sinks beneath the sea of bees.
• 2376 days after a person makes a deal with SCP-3063, 5000 to 20000 fly eggs will manifest inside their internal organs, and the maggots will hatch and eat the person's flesh (and also reproduce after maturing into flies) until the person dies.
• SCP-3127: Anyone who touches Isabella Stanford will have their internal organs turned into pigs, killing them thanks to a lack of anomalous qualities to let them survive.
• SCP-3280 will enter human bodies through orifices or pores, causing loss of motor control, weakening of the micturition reflex, visual hallucinations, abdominal pain, and eventually death.
• SCP-3288-ALPHA, aka Emperor Maximilian, has seed that leads to mutant cannibal babies, which he rapes and impregnates human women with, leading to the babies eating their way out of their mothers.
• The entity on SCP-3333 will kill and impersonate those who reach the top floor of the SCP, drinking their organs and then wearing their skin to disguise as them.
• SCP-3998 burns people to death slowly and painfully if they have ever killed/abused a boyfriend or girlfriend.

SCPs 4000 to 4999

• In SCP-4231, the vast majority of North Access, Cornwall was boiled alive as a result of reality becoming unstable due to a mix of Lilly's abuse of Francis and Lilly's physical pain from giving birth to her and Francis' daughter.
• If someone tries to disturb SCP-4595-A, any empty space within their body will end up filling with desert locusts, causing them to be unable to breathe and eventually collapse dead.
• SCP-4666 will inflict this upon the children it’s kidnapped who refuse to continue working, having them made into crude toys made out of their flesh and organs. One of it’s victims, a young girl converted into a doll, was still conscious when she was discovered and only died a few hours afterwards.
• When someone learns of SCP-4885’s location, it'll teleport inside of them and emerge from their throat, killing them instantly by destroying their organs and bones in the process. If they're within its reach, it will instead force itself down their throat and explode out of their pelvis. As if either wasn't enough, their carcass also gets covered in yellow gunge that gives way to Where's Wally? illustrations coating their skin, and those bodies also share the same properties as SCP-4885 itself - being aware of the corpses' location also means you get turned into a human-shaped Where's Wally page too, and so on and so forth.
• SCP-4975 doesn’t kill it’s victim right away, instead stalking them for months on end, but when it does kill, it does so in a super violent way. It clubs and tears the victim apart using it’s sharp appendages, and then consumes them, often when the victim is still alive.

SCPs 5000 to 5999

• SCP-5172-1 kills by trapping their victim in a form of sleep paralysis, before using a pair of tools to harvest 4 cm cubes from the victim’s body, continuing for around 2 to 3 hours until only the central nervous system remains. Somehow, the victim remains alive, and continues to live for several hours. Victims who had survived have stated to have been left conscious during the process, and had described the process as excruciatingly painful.
• SCP-5254 causes people/objects wearing items resembling the biology of a Pokémon to transform into said Pokémon, a process that causes tons of Body Horror and is usually lethal to organic life forms.
• One corner in SCP-5256 has an object that can’t be directly observed, which turns out to be the remains of a child who was crucified.

SCPs 6000 to 6999

• Those targeted by SCP-6362 will be brutally beaten by SCP-6362-A instances, who will continue coming every time the victim is alone in their home until they’re dead.
• Dying from immolation is already pretty horrible, but SCP-6630’s method of it is way, way worse: First, its combustion is much slower, lasting hours if not days. Second, it keeps the victims alive the entire time, and conscious for about a third of the total burn time (immolation victims usually pass out from pain in a few minutes).

SCPs 7000 to 7999

• SCP-7992 killed James Harrison by ripping all his limbs off and decapitating him, apparently while all still alive. However, it's revealed that 7992 is Harrison, and it remains ambiguous as to whether his method of achieving immortality involved him butchering his original body or the Foundation made the whole thing up to prevent anyone from figuring out Harrison's success.

International SCPs

• SCP-006-FR will cut out and sell a customer’s flesh to them, to which the customer will go back home and eat the flesh cut out of them, only starting dying of blood loss after already eating their own flesh.
• SCP-024-FR compels people to eat it in one go, and thanks to it’s size, the victim usually ends up with their lower jaw breaking/being ripped open, left to feel all the pain and eventually bleed out.
• When worn, SCP-075-FR will turn it’s host into a feral abomination, and slowly damage them with radiation until they’re too damaged to be used, to which it’ll find a new host and restart the process.
• SCP-109-FR’s dart will induce hallucinations into the victim of insects flying around them and crawling on their skin, which eventually leads to them choking themselves to death within a mere 72 hours.
• One time, the invisible hands in SCP-ES-005 apparently dismembered the person inside.
• If all three components of SCP-ES-099 are used together, it’ll eventually lead to a victim being compelled to finish the piece while the components burn them and eventually lead to fatal cardiac arrest.
• Drinking 200ml of SCP-ES-130 will cause the victim to develop growths in their mouth and throat, that eventually spew out a torrent of cockroaches that continue to spew out until the victim’s mass is just cockroaches. A disgruntled employee at the factory that produced the SCP, whose actions had apparently been repulsive, was given the SCP instead of amnestics, leading to him likely dying in this exact manner.

Miscellaneous

• While not explicitly confirmed what happened to him, when Robert Scranton finally materialised back into our reality, all that was left of him was a mass of blood, vomit and rotten skin, which implies his death was not at all pleasant.
• James Anderson, the founder of the Factory, would face this in Bright’s SCP-001 proposal. He was eviscerated, hung from his office window with his own intestines, cut down, disemboweled, dismembered and incinerated, all while alive for the entire experience.
