Wako Pro (和光プロ) was an animation production company formed in 1965 by Takahashi Sumio. The company was renamed to Wako Production (和光プロダクション) in 1976. In 1987, Wako Production entered into a partnership with Telescreen and in 1990, the company's name was once again changed, this time to Teleimage. The company stopped producing new anime starting from 1993 and was renamed back to Wako Pro (but with full kana ワコープロ).
