Valerie Shute, born Valerie Shute-Baker, (1945), is a British actress best known for her small roles in the Carry On films.

She appeared in five Carry On films between the late '60s and early '70s. Her first appearance was in 1969 in Carry On Camping as Pat, one of the Chayste Place schoolgirls. Her roles were never major or important to the plot, as evidenced by how her role as a maid in Carry On Henry ended up cut from the film. Her final appearance in the series was in Carry On Matron, sharing a scene with Terry Scott.

On TV, she had parts in The Fenn Street Gang, Secret Army, The Danedyke Mystery, and Emmerdale. Shute made her final screen appearance in 1983 in the television play Pride of Our Alley.

She has since written a Christmas musical, The Last Christmas Tree.
