Toshiko Fujita (April 5, 1950 - December 28, 2018) was a veteran Japanese actress, voice actress and singer, albeit born in China.
On the voice acting side of things, she was usually typecast as the male Kid Hero or the Yamato Nadeshiko, with a Ms. Fanservice twist on it (though like any good actress she did play against type). Among her notable roles were Rui Kisugi in Cat's Eye, Taichi Yagami in Digimon Adventure, Maraich Juschenfe in Patalliro!, Mamiya in Fist of the North Star, and Dai in Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai, the latter of which would also be her final role which she reprised for Jump Force.
Fujita's career lasted a whopping 60 years, acting in TV, radio and film ever since her childhood at age 6 until 2014 when her long career came to a sudden halt as her health had been declining for some time and she had been limiting her workload because of it, this lead to her ongoing roles at the time being replaced and sadly much like fellow Digimon Adventure alumni, Yuko Mizutani, she passed away due to breast cancer on December 28, 2018 at the age of 68.
