Tamlyn Naomi Tomita is a Japanese-American actress. She was born on January 27, 1966 in Okinawa, and grew up in Los Angeles. Tomita's acting debut was in The Karate Kid Part II. Since then, some of her notable film roles include The Joy Luck Club, The Day After Tomorrow, and Tekken (2010). She is perhaps better known for her reliable television work, including lead roles on The Burning Zone, Berlin Station, and The Good Doctor, and memorable recurring and guest roles on shows like 24, Teen Wolf, and The Man in the High Castle.
