Studio Nue is an animation and mechanical design studio established in 1972 by Haruka Takachihonote , Naoyuki Kato, Kenichi Matsuzaki, and Kazutaka Miyatake. Their best known works can be seen in the Macross franchise; not coincidentally, their best known alumnus is Macross creator Shoji Kawamori.
