Shekhar Kulbhushan Kapoor (born 6 December 1945), better known as Shekhar Kapur, is an Indian film director.
He is probably best known for Bandit Queen and the Elizabeth duology. He is also a co-founder of Virgin Comics, now called Liquid Comics, and created several series for that company.
