Scott Gordon Patterson (born September 11, 1958 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American actor, musician and former baseball player.
Among his most famous roles include portraying love interest Luke Danes in Gilmore Girls, Special Agent Peter Strahm in the Saw films and Michael Buchanan in The Event.
He is currently married to his second wife Kristine, with whom he shares a son.
