Samuel Prideaux Roberts (born December 16, 1961) is an American actor. Both of his parents—father Jason Robards and mother Lauren Bacall—were legendary actors, although they divorced when he was only seven. Robards has worked extensively in theatre, film and television. He is best known for Mrs Parker And The Vicious Circle—where he played The New Yorker founder Harold Ross—American Beauty, and A.I.: Artificial Intelligence.
Robards was married to actress Suzy Amis from 1986 to 1994 and has a son with her. He also has two children with his second wife, model Sidsel Jensen.
