"-tler!" (Not "Klop").

Sam Kelly, born Roger Michael Kelly, (19 December 1943 — 14 June 2014), was a British actor best known for playing Warren in Porridge and Captain Geering in 'Allo 'Allo!.

His first big break came with a large role in Porridge as "Bunny" Warren, a prisoner who was high-spirited, even if he was unable to read. In 'Allo 'Allo!, he played Captain Hans Geering for the first three series before leaving at the start of the fourth. He returned for a guest role in Series 7 and in his later years admitted that leaving the show when he did was his greatest regret.

At the start of The '90s, he starred in On the Up alongside Dennis Waterman and Joan Sims, while at the end of the decade, he starred opposite Gwen Taylor as her husband in Barbara.

He died of cancer at the age of 70.
