Rose Lilian Hill, (5 June 1914 — 22 December 2003), was a British actress best known for playing Madame Fanny La Fan in 'Allo 'Allo!.

She started her career as a soprano but moved to TV and film starting with The Bank Raiders in 1958. Notable performances over the course of her career include playing Stanley Holloway's wife in Thingumybob, doing a guest shot in Dad's Army, and appearing in the Royal Shakespeare Company's production of The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby.

In 1982, she was cast as Madame Fanny La Fan in 'Allo 'Allo! (co-written by Dad's Army's David Croft). Although Madame Fanny was depicted as an ancient, bedridden old woman, Hill wasn't much older than Carmen Silvera, who played her on-screen daughter Edith. Hill stuck with the series until the end, only missing out on nine episodes during this period.

Her final acting role came in 1994 in an episode of A Touch of Frost.

She died at the age of 89.
