Robert James Brown (July 23, 1921 - November 11, 2003) was an English actor.
He was best known for being the second actor to play M, the chief of MI6 in the James Bond film series, succeeding Bernard Lee. He first appeared in the film series as Admiral Hargreaves in The Spy Who Loved Me, though there are still some debates on whether or not it's the same character.
