"The best in classic television!"

Retro TV, formerly known as RTV, was the first digital broadcast subchannel in the United States to dedicate its programming to classic television, as opposed to music videos and local weather.

Originally launched in 2005 by the Equity Broadcasting Corporation, financial troubles caused them to sell to Luken Communications (now known as Get After It Media), but there was soon a lawsuit arguing that Get After It was intentionally withholding Retro's broadcasting, though the case was eventually settled.

Unfortunately, that was not the end of Retro's troubles. The rise of MeTV, Antenna TV, and TBD caused the channel to be dropped by a number of affiliates, reducing them to low power stations. While few of the major TV affiliates carry the channel, the network does offer local stations the option to replace certain programming with local shows and news telecasts.

In addition to over-the-air broadcast, Retro TV can be watched on the It's Real Good TV app and website.
