Red Buttons (born Aaron Chwatt; February 5, 1919 – July 13, 2006) was an American actor, comedian, and songwriter, best known for his appearances in the films Sayonara (for which he won both an Academy Award and a Golden Globe) and The Poseidon Adventure.
He was married three times and had two children.
Red sadly died in 2006 from vascular disease at age 87.
