Radio Silence is a collective of American filmmakers consisting of Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, Tyler Gillet, Chad Villella, and formerly, Justin Martinez, all previously members of the YouTube group Chad, Matt and Rob. Formed in the wake of Rob Polonsky's departure from the latter group, the remaining members formed a film/TV-focused production company, primarily belonging to the Horror genre. Bettinelli-Olpin and Gillet are the usual predominant directors for the group's work.
Their debut production was "10/31/98", a segment of the found footage anthology film VHS. The film was a hit, and has spawned several sequels, three of which the group helped produce. Additionally, Bettinelli-Olpin and Gillett have directed Ready or Not and the recent Scream sequels, and are attached to direct a remake of Escape from New York.
