Simon Paul Adam (20th December 1966 — 5th April 2021), better known professionally as Paul Ritter, was an English actor with an esteemed career spanning almost three decades, his works included films, shows, and theatre. He received great acclaim in several roles, especially as Anatoly Dyatlov in the HBO drama Chernobyl.
Ritter was married to Polly Radcliff since 1966 and they had two sons, Frank and Noah. He died from a brain tumour in 2021; his final film, Operation Mincemeat was dedicated to him.
