, also known as Nuclear Blast Records, is an independent music label founded by Markus Staiger in Donzdorf, Germany in 1987. Originally focused on Hardcore Punk, the label is best known nowadays as primarily a publisher and distributor of Heavy Metal music.In 2018, Nuclear Blast was acquired by French indie label Believe.
One of the "big two" of European heavy metal along with Austria-based Napalm Records.
